    :( :( :( :(

You guys have helped me out in the past, but now I have the worse problem imaginable. Worse than my suspension problems and overheating. Perhaps on par with a cambelt being thrown or the gearbox disintegrating!!!

My wife got her driving licence and wants to drive my 348?

    What should I do!!!!

    Help!!!!

PS. This is not an April Fools.

Don't let her start with your 348, unless she can post a bond that would cover repairs. Start her off on a Honda or some other utilitarian vehicle.

Me too. My wife has been driving for years and is insured to drive the 348 but has never driven it and has no intention of ever driving it.

I just took my wife out in my 355 when I first got it and spun it around on my street as I was explaining how hard it was to drive. She is still scared to drive it.

Divorce is probably cheaper in the long run than letting her drive the 48 . . . . .

    Bull sh*t!

When if first let my wife drive the 348, I told her about the ref, how to shift, when to shift, dubble clutch, bassicly :the fine art of speed-shifting!
what happend?! She shifts better, faster, and with more feel than I do...
I onelly hope she learns to look over the shoulder when turning, `cause this ignorance already coasted me a bundle!

    Regards, Ben

At best she will hate how hard it is to steer and you are free and clear. At worst, you get to occasinally be a passenger and truly enjoy all the people staring at your beautiful car.........

while they are thinking all sorts of thoughts about the guy in that chick's Ferrari:D

I am betting on the first scenario.

Aw let her drive it. She probably will not enjoy it because you will be sitting right there judging everything she does and the car is kind of a muscle car with the stiff shifting and nonpower steering. I wouldn't mind letting her put around down a country road with no traffic. Let her get it out of her system. It won't last. Women want a more civilized ride than the 348 gives.

I have spent a lot of time in Europe.

YES!!! The woman (and men) are far better drivers than in the US.

Just the other day I saw a bimbo smoking a cigarette, talking on the cell phone, AND putting on her make up while driving.

THEN, I saw some jack of... Reading a book !!

I rode with several female drivers in Europe (taxi, chaufer, and average housewife).....It is 2 hands on the wheel, looking around them, and most of all serious and professional.

Not so here in the Staes.

Relax and don’t worry.. She wont have the strength to turn the steering wheel and clutch. Now go buy her a yellow 355 with paddle shifters.

I am just as lucky. My cook has driven my 348 once, only because I MADE her drive it so she can see what the car was like. :D:D

Since then, she has had no interest in driving it again.:eek:

I can't believe no one has posted the obvious course of action which is let her drive and like it and tell her she can have it if you are allowed to upgrade. I heard F40's are cheaper in europe ;) :)
