ok, i copied and paste my songs in a folder on the Mac desktop. now, i've tried deleting the folder from the desktop, but it can't be done because it says the folder is locked. i don't remember locking the folder and even so, i typed the password to have it deleted, but still no success.

edit : i dragged the folder in to the trash, yet i can't 'empty trash' because the folder is lock. any help or ideas? thanks in advance.

    Why?.....

Seriously, are you out of disk space?

Did you import your songs into iTunes? - I'm not sure, but suspect that if you did, the system "knows" where they are (currently in the trash) and won't let you delete 'em without first removing them from iTunes.

You may also want to try holding the option key when you select "empty trash" - I believe that "forces" the empty process - See this thread:

    HTH, cheers,
    Ian

    Glad you got it sorted.

I figure I may as well ask you - Why have I suddenly gone from "subscribed" to "unsubscribed" - It seems to vary depending on the weather.....

You could always throw the MAC in the trash and buy a real pc.

^^ We don't want him to kill himself, he is already depressed, using Windows might put him over the edge.:D
