"Since its birth in 1904, the Fédération Internationale de l'Automobile, the FIA, has been dedicated to representing the interests of motoring organisations and motor car users throughout the world. It is also the governing body of motor sport worldwide." [From the FIA's website] I agree Boys will be Boys, and I have no objection to Max conducting his private life in any way he pleases. I'd hold the FIA's President, though, to a higher standard than your average Boy. IMO, Max has now given the world's buffoons a new King. It's not about prudery, or conservatism, or judging guilt before having all the facts - that's Max in the videos, right? I haven't heard any denial. That's Max with his pants down, getting caned. I'm laughing at him, not with him. The world of F1 seems to me to have been slow to react, teams, press, drivers - virtually all of them have been gutless. You might say they've been careful, fearful of litigation, but I don't think that's it. Look at how all the F1 sites have reacted, and even the BBC. Finally, the Times jumped on the story. I love motorsports, and hate to see this horse's ass take headlines away from what could be a great season in F1. Everywhere he goes, from now on, all of us will be thinking, "she needs more of ze discipline!" What a tool. If he won't resign, Bernie needs to send him packing. BMW, Mercedes, Toyota and Honda have it right. Took them a while, but now they've got it right.
Gosh, I could have sworn I said that already! But thanks for confirming my thoughts! FWIW I am going under the knife next week. I'm havng my cock shortened. Wish me luck!
Yep, I'm sure you did - a few of us have been saying it for years So, what do you think - Mosley in or Mosley out? I think he'll end up out, but he sure thinks he's staying in. Now that Honda, Toyota, BMW and Mercedes have spoken out, it piled up a gigantic amount of pressure at the doors of Renault and Ferrari. Coincidentally, Todt/Luca and Flavio have been some of Max's biggest supporters over the years. I don't think they can say nothing, because that would be seen as siding with Max. They also can't really say "hey lets let the FIA decide" because that's a cop out and would be seen to support Max as well. They sort of have to condemn his actions, and they can't really do that and still be on Max's side. But now that the others have spoken out, they can't *not* speak out. I love watching Max burn! On the flipside, this has already overshadowed the whole race this weekend - another reason Max should have already resigned and should still resign immediately, before the race!
We all know if this had been a driver they would be gone by now. I think he will step down but only when the pressure becomes too much for him to handle. I say replace him with someone who knows Ferrari VERY well and all will be OK.
I hope not. FIA already has the stigma of Ferrari favoritism. I would like to believe Jean Todt has a lot of experience and could do the job very well. But I don't think Ron Dennis or Jean Todt would be an objective choice for the role, so I'm conflicted on who actually has the ability to run the FIA without being closely associated with a current team in F1.
Again I say - get somebody who is a good fair administrator and who does not imagine himself to be the greatest engineer since Thomas Edison.
http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/66307 Now he's calling for a speacial FIA meeting. Might be a good thing if it backfires and he's voted out.
Translation: In broken Germanic ranting english You will do as I tell you , and back me up to the hilt, if not you will be thrashed.. or Sie werden das tun, was ich Ihnen sagen, und mich zurück bis zu den Griff, wenn nicht werden Sie verprügelten..I think
Agreed Steve but I do think it's already too late for him. The man has lost all credibility and dignity in the eyes of the world whether it was a Nazi orgy or not.
I don't believe it's a matter of sanity, but one of dignity. It's pretty clear he has none. His ilk cannot be shamed. He will not step down and even if dragged away kicking and screaming(I hope) he will somehow portray himself a victim. This fool makes enemies $100m at a crack and expects his indiscretions to remain secret. Perhaps he is insane. Now would be a good time for the constructors to unite and tell the FIA, Max and Bernie to stuff it, form a new series with minimal regulation and call it something else.
I haven't heard when this meeting will be other than "ASAP" but I think Ferrari and Renault and the other teams who have not spoken out yet need to come out before this meeting. It would be exceedingly hard for Max to remain the head of the FIA if all the teams have come out against him. Furthermore, if the remaining teams - most especially Ferrari and Renault - do not come out before the meeting, it will IMO be seen to be a case of them wanting to sit on the fence until the outcome is known, then jumping on the bandwagon. I absolutely do not think Max is holding this meeting for the purposes of resigning, but rather to reassert his control and quash any miniscule amount of dissent among his underlings. I HOPE it will turn into a vote of no confidence and he will be ousted. THAT would be poetic justice, for him to go in there to assert his authority and end up having it stripped from him like a spooge stained SS uniform.
I agree but regret to say that we live in an era where dignity, integrity, literacy and a number of other fine qualities have gone by the boards. Sadly, Max fits right in with our pop culture society. That he hasn't resigned and completely disappeared from view at this point is emblematic of our time.
Richard Parry-Jones. He actually is a brilliant engineer, and had an excellent career with Ford (mostly Europe) before retiring a year or so ago. Was involved with their Jaguar operations, so knows F1. Remember also that the FIA is much more than just F1, and even more than motorsport, they're involved in road safety programs world-wide. Parry-Jones would be perfectly suited to the role, and would not be tainted by any affiliation with current or recent F1 teams.
I have to say I don't care even a little bit about this whole thing and I'm honstly surprised so many of you do. It's his bedroom, I don't see how what goes on behind the door is any of my or anyone elses concern......
Other than the 5 Nazi dressed hookers; the head lice and scrotal lice inspections; the whipping and punishment--enough. Bill Clinton had his defenders after he said that he "did not have sexual relations with that woman." Then we found a blue dress with a sperm stain in the shape of a map of Russia all over it. In his deposition--please feel free to read it--Clinton actually said that Monica was having sex with him but he was not having sex with her. All his defenders feel stupid for their ardent support. If you don't open you eyes to what Max has done, you may soon be lumped in with the idiots. I urge you to look around and think rationally.
Wow, I guess maybe we shouldn't care about private matters. You know like if your having sex with little boys & girls, dogs, your under age but conscenting brother. The sex with the hookers aren't the problem it's the character of the man you VOTE into power. He has judgment to lay down huge fines and punishments that effect many individuals and companies for their behavior. Shouldn't the F1 members care about his character and actions. He's out! It's just that simple; if there wasn't video he may have stood a chance but he won't make it through the month.
If he doesn't step down, he will be mocked until he really goes insane. I could see (and hope I do if he stays in power), Ron Dennis, or someone else that cant stand his Nazi ass, coming to a meeting and simply laying a whip or paddle on the table. The look on Max's face would be priceless. Mark
On the main TV new's now .. jist of it, the team's are lining up to distance themselves from him... Pig headed he maybe, but he's gonna go out like a crushed cockroach. I hope.
