i'll do the first question, but i'll warn you, this one is probably going to be hard. in this picture, of a young bill dewitt jr and babe ruth, the small (hint, hint) bat boy uniform that dewitt has on is in the hall of fame. why? Image Unavailable, Please Login
I just thought of it. The "small guy" that played baseball Eddie Gaedel (he wore the number 1/8) must have something to do with it.
that was quicker than i expected. yea, dewitt jr, now the principle owner of the cardinals, had to give that same uniform pictured to eddie gaedel so he could walk on 4 consecutive pitches thrown by bob cain, of the detroit tigers. your turn now.
if i'm not mistaken, and keep in mind, this is in the most modern era of modern baseball, but i believe it was nolan ryan that was the first to be clocked at 100, it couldn't have been before the early 70's though...
george brett, too easy, (although you could also include stan musial and ted williams to this list as well, ) how many years were there between randy johnson's no-hitter and his perfect game?
