Competizione is doing a lot of Corsa Tuning these days. They just did a 355 and a 360 and they are finishing up a 512M. Here is a link to the 355 and 360 dyno run and a pic of the finished 360 and the 512M being worked on. Consists of high flow catalyzer's, an x-ost exhaust, Gruppe M airboxes and ECU tuning.

Start working overtime robbie, that could be your 355.

They did mine about 2 months ago... throw in some hyperflow cats, too. The thing flies. I think the ECU reflash was probably the biggest improvement as it is set conservatively at the factory.

No joke... on the back straight at VIR (4000 feet) a 430 was only "walking" away from me, not running away, but walking away... barely. Same with a 360 Challenge.

It makes a huge difference to get everything in sync and working in harmony and tuned on the dyno vs. just bolting on parts.

    A satisfied customer.

They are good guys and I never felt better about someone working on my car. When I was at their shop for the first time, they showed me around and made me feel as if I was their only customer... very individual attention. Got photos and e-mail updates. First Class.

Wasn't too fond of that 355 sound....I already have Hyperflows, X-OST, secondary cat bypass on the car and a set of Fabspeed headers waiting to be put on.... What does the ECU tuning gain?? Any HP increase? Richard had told me if I got test pipes I would have to have the ECU flashed, but I went with the Hyperflows and not test pipes... Is it worth still having done?

A friend used to tune using Evotech chips/software on a bunch of cars, including 355s and 360s. Although the power may not increase appreciably, you can move your torque curve to give it more grunt down low, which would be very noticeable on a 355. I'll see if I can dig up some dyno sheets...

If you are bolting stuff on without adjusting the ECU I do not think in any way you are getting the maximum out of the money you are spending by bolting on parts. It all needs to work in harmony.

It is my understanding that even the ECU should be reflashed even with just hyperflows and new exhaust. There is enough difference over stock. I think you will gain a lot getting the ECU re-mapped once all your add-on's are done. The guys that sell the add-ons will always tell you no additional work is needed on your car. But, I think that is to make the sale. It does not make sense.

I am no expert, but as I understand it lots of things need to be adjusted such as spark timing, valve timing, air/fuel, etc. and when you bolt on parts (relatively speaking of course because the car still runs well) they all get slightly out of whack (a technical term).

Does anyone know about how much $$$$ are all of these mods cost? That 360 has an incredable sound!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11

Does that shop do there own ECU modifications or is another party like PowerChip Group?

    Thanks!!!

No, they do all the mods there at the shop. They re-program the ECU while the car is running live on the dyno through the RPM range. This is much better than the places that send you a tool to download a generic code or in older cars mail away chip places.

The ECU reflash is going for $2,500 which is still about $1,000 less than other places I compared it to. My hyperflows were in the ballpark of $3,000 installed, but don't quote me on that... I forget exactly. Definitely worth doing it. Love it.

Give them a call and see...

for the 360 in the pic it was about 9K. Picked up about 28hp at the rear wheels. That included Carbon fiber airboxes. both ecu's tuned, cats and exhaust. Different cars and setups are different prices. The m is finished and another 360 w/capristo will be done. Vids to follow.

Fellas, I love the idea of taking a Stradale or Scuderia and up-ing the performance.

What could I do to one of these cars - what, of many things could I do to one of these cars that would make it fly a bit faster? Or maybe allot faster...
