I used to own that car. It was wacked hard in the right rear, the seller neglects to mention that.

Forgive my ignorance, but what does a salvaged title (I'm not asking for the definition:cool:) mean on this kind of car?

SVRA, VSCDA, HMSA and a majority of the recognized vintage racing sanctioning bodies would not accept it's entry or permit this car to run.

    HSR and VARA might...

Proceed with caution boys and girls. The entire right rear was lost in the accident and as I see it the "new" section doesn't look correct, IMO.

Custom. The car was VERY well built, unfortunately the repair looks marginal at best...

The molds for this car were taken directly off the original, I would love to know who lent them the car!

As stated it cost $337,000 per copy how much would you guess that the reserve might be? How much should it be?

The website that he's quoting is OLD, when that price was quoted the dollar was much stronger than the Euro. I was also told that the company that was making these replicas was put out of business by Ferrari who then destroyed the molds.

do you remember if the skin was steel or aluminum? You're right about the repair; the shot from the rear shows the right side a bit more bulbous than the left . . . .

Do you know who made the 12 cars? or where in the US?

hmmm, I'm glad I clicked on the german website link - the first picture (the b&w shot) is my photo of my car, an original Series II 500 Mondial, taken at the Reading Concorso in 2000. They got it off of the owner's gallery section of www.tomyang.net
