Ferrari Club has already mailed out the circular for this event. It's known as Bedok Motorsports Family Carnival. 4-7pm Thought it's 3pm? Convoy drive starts from Changi T3 to Bedok Stadium with a carnival held there & expecting 10,000 residents etc to participate. Seems that they have enough cars for charity ferry for kids. There's Uncle Ringo, games, go-kart, lucky draw, Xbox etc. Corporate sponsors will donate S$2K per drive/kid around Bedok town. All proceeds will be donated to education fund for CCs in East Coast & Joo Chiat GRC. Hmmm. I think this area has the highest exotic car owners per capita maybe they should donate to Geylang & Macpherson or Jurong/woodlands area.
Tomorrow 4pm @ Changi T3 carpark. ES has a gathering @ 1.30pm @ their showroom then convoy there, not sure about HSM. Drive off to Bedok Stadium where event kicks off. Hope for good weather though. SFchallenge MP, Maxpower Audi RedDevil khips Avantgarde Unholy_trident Derek? Anymore Singapore owners?
So what time will you guys arrive at Bedok Stadium ? Why is there no publicity for this event ? Neither seen it on the papers nor the TV Edit: Will you guys be there for the both days or tomorrow only ?
Sorry. Some changes. It's Budget airlines terminal & convoy leaves ES @ 3pm. There'll be signs reaching the destination so you shouldn't get lost.
Wow, fantastic turn out! We had 60 cars. For the first time, Ferraris, Maseratis, Lambos, Porsches & Bentley all stirred into a big group. There were probably 2 dozens different models, wait for the news or tonight's papers. Lots of revving & excited crowd. Too bad the weather wasn't good but the rain didn't dampen too much. Photos to be posted shortly & I still have my Genting trip to edit!
The Gathering.... I have 180 pics of this event. Weather wasn't too good later so pics may appear underexposed. I was too busy greeting old friends so didn't have the time to take artistic pics, just quick snaps & to those whom I know but we didn't have the chance to greet. Great event! Your Quicksilvers sounded great. (I was the fat boy taking pics of your car and the Gallardo Superleggera before you left ) Feeble attempt: http://picasaweb.google.com/marcz92/BedokMotorsportsCarnivalBedokStadium/photo#5185752573500621186
Ohhhhh! The shots at the Budget Terminal wold have been so much better. The Stadium carpark was horrendously cramped.
The organiser. I think we raised at least S$300,000.00 for the education fund. Ferried 50 kids around the estate. All for a Good cause & probably the largest gathering of it's kind here. TPs helped a little & our DP Minister flagged off the event A kid did go eh..... vomit in an overzealous Superleggera Image Unavailable, Please Login
Oh, also, where can i get this lovely item? And um, could you share some photography tips? I can't take any decent photos This was the best I managed...
The gals! Guess which one hitched a ride with me? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yu can buy that keychain @ the showroom. Quite cheap for an enamelled. Buy some camera books, get an SLR which can be pretty cheap these days but you'd need good lenses. Buy 2nd hand if budget, visit Camera Workshop @ Excelsior S Ctr. The lighting condition @ carpark was too dark especially when the rain cloud came in. Need high ISO but that would turn grainy or you'd need proper flash, play with aperture/shutter etc. I'm not good either, set it to AUTO

How 'cheap' is cheap? No budget cos i'm still a student. A teeny budget allows for only a good 'prosumer' camera. Any recommendations for one that is say, below $600?
Can go film 1st if you dare. Those are going cheap now. $600 a bit tough but I think some hi-end idiot cameras are pretty good. Visit Comex etc to check it out, the gals there can maybe help you
