its an old vid - it was the Enzo / FXX / MC12 prototype that was often seen whizzing round the test track with Pirelli stickers on it a few years ago (2/3)

It's believed to be an MC12 testmule in Enzo clothes. There are a few posts and possible a topic about this very car on this same forum.

In my eyes.... there is no more desirable car in the world. Everything about it is what I dream of in only the greatest dreams. what it means, what it can do, what it spawned, the color, everything is perfect. One day, it will be mine.

    Wow, I have a problem.

I wouldn't be surprised if it showed up at one of the Leggenda E Passione auctions in 10 or 15 years if not sooner. I would guess that it would bring no less than $3 million if sold in todays market and who knows what a decade from now.

I guess I'd have to agree with you, although it needs some black wheels as well:D

The driver's name stencilled on the car is "A Bertollini"- the Maserati factory driver who ended up driving the MC12 in the ALMS series, if I recall correctly.

He also attempted to set the Laguna Seca lap record in a Ferrari F1 Corse Clienti car a few years ago.

My two laps around Laguna Seca were attempts to break the lap record.

I fail miserably. A Ford Aerostar and my skills are not the best tools for such an attempt! :D

7 figures... doubt it would be much more. i have seen a few older "late 90's" f1 cars going or $800k ish... obviously this would be much more, but how much more i dont know.... $5mil? my only concern if i was to buy an f1 car. they are designed to last like 500km. what happens when he clocks that up? needs a new engine?

You have to send the car back to the factory for an engine refresh.

(bam sits back from his computer, downs the rest of his wine, and heads off to the kitchen for some aluminum foil and hockey tape.)

what must be done, must be done.

but yeah, I do agree, some black wheels would be nice.

Im of course not talking about the MC12. I was talking about the short bit of it going around the track at the very beginning. I cant review the video now because Im at work, but I thought it was featured at the beginning of that video.
