After hearing that Max was able to keep it up (pun intended :p) for 5 hours, the Bahrain guys were afraid he'd occupy the girls the whole weekend... :D

This is his only defense he can play.

Whoever set it up will say Max is "public person" - hence privacy rules don't apply to him

They'll have to cut 5 hours down to 3 hours so they can run it in movie theaters first, than it will go to DVD.

Well, it would appear Max's one silver lining of this affair of which he can take pride has been deflated. The hooker said that Max has a very hard time "keeping it up" and it takes hours of beating and being beaten to get him ready to perform. It also said the girls were holding back laughter at his performance.

Assuming his ego is inversely proportional in size to his weewee, then Max has more problems than his tenure at the FIA. Amongst those problems is the fact that said mini dong has been captured on video for the whole world to see, *and* among the spectators of said video will be his 'peers' at the FIA who will also be the ones to make their decision on the continued need for his services.

Max may rule with an iron fist, but it's hard to fear a man that you've just seen speaking in 'Allo 'Allo-esque German while he gets his ass spanked by a frumpy chubbed out low-end hooker who'se holding back her laughter out of respect for her client who'se having a hard enough time keeping Mr. Percy at attention long enough to achieve sufficient ROI on his $5000 investment to leave the event with his dignity somewhat intact.

Another smart move by the paper is that they are sending the full uncut video to the FIA decision makers under the guise of "making sure they have all the information". Now, more than likely at least one of those copies is going to slip out (an oops that the paper is probably more than willing to risk, if you know what I mean) and before long we'll *all* be able to witness Max's feeble manhood in action.

Murdoch is doing a thorough job. I would almost feel bad for the accused if it wasn't Mosley. If you rule by the sword, you die by the sword.

Agree with everything you have said, but my main concern is we all hate Max because he blackmailing bastard ... thus is it really right to allow this sort of cr@p to continue or to be used to get rid of him (probably by his replacement). F1 and/or the FIA need to change so that their normal modes of operation don't involve this cr@p.

Otherwise the person that replaces Max will be just as bad, and F1 goes further backwards ... or atleast not forward :(.

Good point. But I think in Mosley's case any way to accomplish the result is fair game. Not that I believe this will end his rule as president.

    Andreas,

Now just think how much better F1 would be if we took the sponsorship $'s away. We would not have Max type issue because there would not be the greed bollocks. You would have real racing enthusiasts running the sport, and manufactures involvement would be because they really want to play ... not do a Jaguar (for example) and get some sort of instant exposure bollocks.

The only difference would be that the glamour would fnck off and real racing would return. The cars would not be any slower because most of the money is spent feeding Bernie and Max type people + parties + other glamour bollocks.

Money IS the root of all F1 evil, just like it is with everything else.

I never disagreed with that for one minute. That's why I call today's F1 entertainment. :)

But you can't blame it on Bernie. He just was a tad faster and smarter than anybody else. The involvement of the sponsors and the big money was bound to happen, sooner or later. As with everything else.

Also "taking the sponsorship away" is a lot easier said than done. Where does it begin, where does it end? The cars that competed in 1950 were "sponsored" by the car manufacturers that put them on the grid (Max just informed me, that the Silberpfeile were actually sponsored by a good friend of his father. :)). A sport where the equipment is so essential cannot be played in a "pure environment" as e.g. the classic Olympics were.

Anyway, coming back to Mosley: I don't think finding a successor who could do a better job is that hard. You need somebody who obviously understands F1, has some integrity and most importantly some common sense/is a good manager. The problem with Mosley as head of the FIA is that he single handedly tries to push stuff through that everybody is totally against for good reasons and vice versa he doesn't implement the most basic stuff that is necessary.

Absolutely true, as will eventually be regarded as Colin's worst, but understandable (considering Lotus had little money) move.

Kilmas Beer sponsored Juan Fangio in the 1950's Argentinian Grand Prix. Not sure, but I think that's the first time it was seen big time in F1. Sponsorship been around before Lotus. Nazi Party sponsored Mercedes and Auto Union efforts in the 1930's. Michelin Man been sponsoring races for even longer than that.

I do not think that money is the root of all evil. It is what men choose to do with it that can be. One can do alot of beautiful things with money too.

If he hadn't someone else would have. Is there a sport that commercialization hasn't effected?
