We were tearing down the Fasion at the Park show yesterday, and around 9:30 in the morning, right before the storm hit, there was a champagne colored (i believe) DB9 pulling in front of the Kona Grill looking for a valet, and a couple hours later a black Bently Conti with saddle leather at Nordstrom's. Kind of late but I slept most of the day.

Would that be from DFW Elite? I was a regular with them up until last August. They have a nice collection.

Yerp. Did the cars seem well cared for? I was planning on renting that sme yellow spyder before making a decision to buy one later, and am curious about how representative it would be to a privately driven one.

It is always a good idea to try before you buy when it comes to an investment like that. I would rank DFW the same as VanHorssen Group. I think you will be pleased with whichever you pick. We had a Maser QP and were not dissapointed except for having to wait for it to warm up before it went over 3k rpm. I wish you luck on your purchase.

I spotted a Red Viper SRT-10 Convertible on an onramp to I35 in between Cleburne and Waco.

Also saw a couple old replicated Dino shells sitting in the grass off to one side of I35. I remember seeing something posted about this before. . .

This is a long shot, but I may have also seen a Guards Red Porsche Carrera GT heading the opposite way on I35 (towards DFW). The highway divider was blocking much of the view; however it did look much like a Carrera GT from the front. A Carrera GT in this color is very rare, and I have proven myself wrong in the past when it comes to similar unsure glimpses. . . . I don't suppose anyone saw a red Carrera GT in the area today. Maybe someone can prove me wrong on this one.:) LOL, I thought I'd mention it just in case. . .

If anyone missed the show the past few days, you should go check it out. Audi, Mercedes and Porche have some awesome displays. Ferrari and Maseratti have a couple cars each ( 430 and 612, QP and Gran Sport respectively ), and there are some nice concepts. Oh, the Corvette ZR1 is on display as well as the chasis/drivetrain. I will get some photos up tomorrow for those that didn't make it.

Perhaps it was one of you two, but I spotted a red Mondial Conv. tonight around 6:30 driving down Garland Road going past White Rock Lake.

Was making a run to pick up some groceries and couldn't help but notice the Giallo Gallardo roadster heading towards the bridge on 66 coming from Garland. Haven't seen one of them out here yet. Nice day to have the top down...

Verde Ithaca Gallardo at Chips on Lovers Lane. It had Lamborghini Dallas decals down the sides. I had my arm out the window of the car a good 3 feet trying to get a picture on my camera lol.

I passed the black one on the way into the office on the PBGT. He must have been on his way back to the dealership.

It is a true testament to the reliability of these cars that I could drive it out to the track for over an hour, drive it hard at the track for the better part of eight hours, and then drive it back to the dealership without a single hiccup. We stopped the cars only to replenish fuel and for less than an hour at lunch. The ceramic brakes performed flawlessly as well. Only one of the five cars had an issue and this was simply boiled brake fluid after two back-to-back sessions with heavy footed drivers. It was a Spyder with standard brakes.

I suggested this on the current thread regarding improvements to Fchat, and I'll suggest it again here, with apologies ahead of time for offending anyone:

How about limiting the DFW Spotters thread to FERRARI AUTOMOBILES ONLY?

Yes, we all see Astons, Lambos, Porsches, Bentleys, and all manner of other exotic/expensive/over-the-top cars, but the title of this thread is DFW Ferrari Spotters!

Perhaps there needs to be a new sister thread below Ferrari Spotters: DFW-Other Exotic and Special-Interest Spotters.

I like the thread including other exotic / rare cars but that is just me. If it goes Ferrari only, I would like a DFW exotic spotter thread added, as I like to hear what cars are seen where.

Just spotted a silver 360 Spider with the top down on Lovers Lane near Inwood Road.
