Are there any other "major" differences?

Printed material suggests that there is a $5000 difference between the GTB and GTS with the GTS more valuable. I, however, prefer the GTB. MY 348 is a TS so I can see the attraction of the removable top. As a sports car purest, I would have gone with a TB if one were available.

I agree the GTS are valued higher in the U.S. but I herd the GTB is higher in Europe. I wonder if that is true?

The market on GTS cars is slightly higher because od the lack of cars...Less cars, more demand = higher prices

You're cracked - Spiders are more valuable than GTB or GTS cars. Same for the 348's. The tend to be located in sunny climes where people will pay the extra cash for them. If I thought I could have my old 348 Spider for less than I paid for my SS, I'd buy it in a heartbeat, but that just ain't so.

It's true. A GTS F1 is more expensive than a GTB F1, but whitout F1 trans the GTS and GTB are about the same.

I disagree. Many people steer clear of the 355 F1. While it might be a great system, there are many (false) horror stories. Sort of like the valve guide issue.

GTS 355s have always driven a premium.

I was shopping for a 355GTS for a while last quarter of '07, before getting a 348GTS. There were almost NO 355GTSs for sale! OTOH, there were at least a few GTBs for sale, and 90% at least were Spiders. I haven't looked at Ebay today, but I suspect there are probably twenty 355 Spiders there, and that can't be good for Spider prices, compared with GTBs and GTSs. Still seem to be more GTBs than GTSs, and the look of a Berlinetta, while having an open roof make the GTS the one to have. I think prices of the few GTSs that come up for sale reflect that (at least for nice cars).
