Looking ahead to Cannon Beach this year... I am making spring plans and was wondering if anyone is planning on bringing a CS or a Dino 246 and offering rides? Either one would be a great way to inspire giving to Friends of Haystack Rock. If so, I'll be first in line!

A 246 shows up on a regular basis and a CS isn't too far out of the question either. There is something there to please almost everybody.
    Would an F40 do?

Well there are only a few of F40's around here, and I know that one won't be coming. A CS isn't out of the question at all.

I know of three in the Sound area. Open odds if one shows up.

...and Kuzi. But Kuzi already said he won't be there. Haven't heard from Tim or Steve yet, though.

I still haven't heard news of a CS going to Cannon Beach this year, but will be venturing out to the coast with my son to see the sights anyway. A ride in a CS would make my day!

Well a CS is what I really want to experience, but if an F40 showed up that would be tempting of course!

From what I understand from the organizers, there will be no official ride sharing this year. I am guessing that will not stop some from giving rides for donations anyway. :):)

What's the primary method they use for raising money? I thought it was giving rides (although I go to Cannon Beach about 10 times a year, I haven't been to the event before). Were there questions about liability? Maybe they'd allow us to have $100 entry fees for The Hemlock Street Time Trials: lowest elapsed time from Pizza a Fetta to the Tolovana Beach parking lot and back (yes, I'm just joking; it would be crazy-dangerous).

    Sponsors and personal donations.
There is always the Club auction after dinner as well, many interesting items, rare wine, art work, memorabilia etc.........

Now that Robert has gone to the "Dark Side" this year it looks like the rare and unique "Purple Pimp Daddy" outfit will be changing hands................:p:p
