The Bugatti is a Bugatti, one of the 2-3 most important names in automotive history of all time. This name will stay around as long as there are automobiles. The K Car is just a passing fad, neat but no history. Give me a Bugatti any day.

Yup, Koenigsegg's Nardo run was done before Bugatti's show down at Ehra Lessien. .. thing is, Bugatti is losing a load of money on every Veyron they make
The Koenigsegg is a great car but I think the Veyron (last I read) was faster. I think that the Koenigsegg is really an amazing car though without any doubt. I think for the due to the cost, I would go with the CCX or CCXR. Just my 2 cents...
They did just barely over the F1 with the CCR. But the CCR's top speed in KPH is usually debated because it's lower than Andy Pilgrim's video of the F1 at 391Kph. But yes, before Bugatti. As for the CXX, it hasn't even shown that it's gone above the McLaren to my knowledge, and this is the car that Koenigsegg says goes faster than the Veyron, which doesn't mean diddly until they actually show it.
