    Alonso has activated an escape clause in his contract unknown to the public. The Renault is "way off the pace and unfit for him to drive." Therefore, he is leaving F-1 for 2008 and stepping into ALMS driving for Corvette Racing where he will be the number 1 driver. He is certain to win as two time world champion but just to make sure there is no other competition in GT1.
