"pininfarina factory built, right hand drive car."
So built by Pinninfarina, not the Ferrari factory. :) As I recall all of the Sultan's specials were handled there rather than by Ferrari.

If they cannot find a buyer there in UK, there will be demand on this RHD F50 in Asia market.

    +1

This car might be lack of racing feels with the full leather stuffed inside. I guess everyone are sharing the same favor of CF one.

Electric windows and stereo! haha, love to see the stereo in use sometime! Would be cool if it came to Aus - it might be able to be registered!

This is the 2nd time Coys is offering this car for sale. Coys is even using the exact same text in the ad as they did the first time :p
So, just for your information: this is not a new car that came out of Brunei, but has been in the UK for quite some time allready ;)

im suprised it didnt sell, England, Aus, Japan, etc... lots of countries with collectors especially in aus where f50's aren't legal to drive because they are LHD. do you know a ballpark figure of what the seller is after?

just looking at that engine bay, i see the placard on the rear right inner fender missing... maybe its on the left this time :) a few other things in the engine bay look out of place

it did sell back then and now, a couple years later, it's being offered by Coys again. I'm not 100% sure, but I think this car was owned by an Irish gentleman during time or at least in the last 6 months.

I don't know about prices, dealers don't seem to want to talk with non-buyers. In all those years I've e-mailed with dozens of people I met on forums or via via and only with ONE dealer. And when I told that dealer I wasn't in the market for a car he stopped answering my e-mails :(

I'm sure it isn't, but I agree with you that it doesn't fit the car at all..

You would still be in for a world of pain trying to get this car registered in Australia, RHD or not.
I would love to have a close look at the tub to see how it was done for interest sakes though. It would be far from straight forward to convert.

What would be hard about it? Because it's a 'specialty car'? Maybe a completely new tub was made for this car?

i cant say ive ever done a steering conversion, but i would guess a mid engine car would be a bit easier without an engine to work around up front.
    is the tub symetrical?

Where to start... put it this way, I looked into bringing in a 10yr old RHD car and spoke to someone who had tried to do the same (exact same car, and one that has been officially imported into Aus so nothing unusual). He had checked all the rules, confirmed with the Minister (IN WRITING!) that his plans were valid, the set off down the import path... 2 years and more than the cost of a new car later he gave up, the endless paper work which went around in circles, inspections, finally insistance on a crash test ended the attempt. This is a brief description of the successful prohibition on importing cars that DOTARS has set up masquerading as a procedure known as RAWS.

The F50 is currently in Ireland. The owner is Alan Hanly, a property developer and supercar collector. He is building a 5 star hotel in the Irish countryside which will have a 'supercar museum'. I'm surprised that he is selling it because he has previously mentioned that he intends to have the F50 on display in his hotel. He owns an F430, 355, Diablo, Murcielago, XJ220, etc. I believe he is getting a Bugatti EB110 next...
