    That reminds me of Carl Sagan's last book that he wrote. He wrote about how he would talk in lectures to a group of students and tell them that the sun would die out in about 7 billion years and suddenly people in the audience would make a sound or get a worried look on their faces and he would laugh to himself at just how absurd it is to have concern or worry about a event that couldn't be any further removed from your life as that.

    The Earth will die sooner than that. In about 1 billion years, the suns gravity will have pulled the Earth close enough to it that everything on this planet will be burned to a crisp. :(
