Questions on 599 options........

1) The option code "SHF1" (Leather upholstery for rear bench)..........does that determine the leather color of the rear wall behind the seats?...........area circled in the picture below.

2) I would like to have standard electric seats..........are these standard or are they under the option code "RSFE" (Full electric Recaro seats)?

2, these are not standard seats, these are optional electric seats, Last friday I got my new 599 with standard seat,

Tarek your choise with Nero black and red interior is beautyful as well, riding the 599 is like an orga... I am so happy with my new babe but now is raining and snowing here in switzerland i have to wait

Are the defaults for the options DSH4 (A pillars, rear pillars, side frame and windshield frame) and DSH5 (upper dash) Nero leather............Nero leather does not come up on the system as an available color for these two options, so I presume if these two options are not selected, the default color will be Nero leather.

Is the option CHUS (Battery Charger) now standard on 2008 599 models?

For UK spec cars

Yes the rear shelf determines rear wall colour

The std seats are electric but don't have the adjustable bolsters or I think lumbar support, also I'm pretty sure they don't have position memory, The Recaro option adds these functions

Std for the dash and pillars etc is Nero as is I believe the Steering Wheel so if you want Red you'll need to specify that

CHUK is now inc in 2008 599's in the UK

You may wish to spec diamond stitch pattern for the seats. It looks nice and feels more comfortable than the Daytona pattern- I have sat in both seats in 599s. Though you have not specified Daytona pattern, I don't know how the Recaro pattern will feel. It does look nice though. I think you will really love this car.

Thank you Jerry .........I chose the Recaro seats which have the pattern above. I like the way they look. I can't imagine that the Recaro seats will be uncomfortable.
