Looks like you are running a LOT of camber on the 928, James. Do you have different year upper and lower control arms?

I think we are at -2 deg or -2.5 deg. Not all that much. Well within the limits of the suspension on the car. I don't know what suspension was bolted on that tub when I got it. I presume it was early OB suspension gear. It was an '80 Euro S when it started life a long time ago. When you go w/ 12" wide wheels and -2 deg it will look like more though.

Be sure and click to watch the slide show in reverse as it plays better that way.

The first shot should be the race car in white as it was built and race by Mark Anderson. It should end with me racing the car in blue.

Hope you guys can enjoy this! I am glad the car is running well and is so enjoyable because it took way longer and cost way more than I EVER thought it would and I could still stand to do some more work on it!

That may be the best 924S I have ever seen. Have you had it up to Porschedillo with us here in Austin yet? You should bring it up, I bet you would do quite well!

Thanks! I'm very happy with its favorable condition. The only other ones I have seen driving around are beaters.:( Mine needs a little bit of work done before I enter any serious shows, but that shouldn't take too long. I'm going out to the Eurosport Austin Concours this weekend. Will you be there? Also do you have any more information on this Porschedillo event? Thanks
    :)

I am going to try and make that event. I have not been up to the San Marcos airport before but I was out at Harris Hill Road race track weekend before last and that is close. When not driving you could watch the planes take off.

No info on this years P-dillo yet. I'll keep you posted. Hope to meet you this weekend!

I actually haven't ever been to the San Marcos airport before either. It doesn't look too difficult to find judging from the map, so I'll try my luck with that. I'll look for you out there! Any thoughts on which 928 you might be bringing out?

    Best,
    Tyler

Have not even thought about it. If I could get some track time in over at H2R I would bring the '92. The tires SUCK on it and it will be sliding all over the place, BUT I already have my 5pt harness bolted into it. I put it in just in case I was not able to get the race car out there week before last. If no track time then the only real car to bring is the '94! That car looks good ALL the time. It is not really concours ready at this point, but I would bring it out anyway...

I will be playing it by ear for sure...

    Hope to meet you Tyler!

These were the only two Porsches on the 2008 Colorado Grand. The car on the left is a 1955 550 Spyder and the car on the right is a 1957 RSK. The RSK is one of the five center seat spyders that allowed it to be converted from formula two configuration into a left-hand drive sports racer.

That RSK and 550 are each worth a FORTUNE! Especially that RSK! Holy Smokes!
