sorry guys but i like it. needs to lose those gay little side corner splitters on the front and "de bling" the wheels and itd be great
Chaos, of course it looks good - but the original was a milestone in automotive history. To copy history was never good in the past (apart from the new Mini). The designers today have a very tough job. To get a new benchmark-design is today -IMO- not possible anymore! Ciao! Walter
Leave the Miura and go on designing new cars . . . Murci gets an SV version. So within a year or 3 we might see a new model?
it is not in the brand spirit to bring old cars to life i hope they will not come out with the new miura (or a new countach)
The upper lip of the opening is round. This destroys completly the wonderful lines the Miura had. Another proof for the genius job Bertone did and that only few can replace/repair it in the same way. The chap who worked on that car clearly could NOT! Ciao! Walter
does anyone have any pics of 5100 since its "return" to SVJ spec the registry page for it was last updated in October 2004.
No, unfortunately. The current owner would have a hissy fit of monumental proportions. I personally have never understood what the big deal is about keeping a car (essentially an item licensed for public road use) secret. Clearly there is an issue that he wishes kept from scrutiny. At least the saga of its dual back-and-forth identity is not as bad as the cloud that follows 5110 in my opinion, a Miura that comes complete with fake non-original dash plaque that proclaims a false last-of-series status. The yellow jalpa (jla12419) at the factory museum is the same, it says last jalpa, but nonsense, it's JLA12420 which is the last one, there is also a confirmation letter of Ubaldo Sgarzi with the car saying that JLA12420 is the last ever built Jalpa.
Raymond, it is good that in the last 10 years some of these 'storied' cars have been exposed, and in the case of 5110 it is NOT the last Miura by some 4 cars! Lucky for all of us Ingrid Pussich's original list survives... Joe www.joesackey.com
how pathetic, its a bl**dy car and a historic one at that oh well cheers anyways Joe (obviously not your fault) just would have been nice to see it
Go to the www.lamborghiniregistry.com. There are some there. You have no idea how many people contact websites and whine: "Take the pictures of my car off!" For the most part they are simply ignored. Joe www.joesackey.com
as i said m8 in my initial request the registry page for 5100 hasnt been updated since 2004 oh well. hopefully it will be sold in nr future to an actual enthusiast and we can all see pics.
