Everyone knows what the barcode stands for--no real need to actually say Marlboro..

    I love the TH jacket!!

It´s a shame this ban of the marlboro logos, I also think the gear looks better with the tobacco logos.

I was part of this discussion on a now-defunct model forum. I am a non-smoker and I have never had the urge to start just because I've seen a tobacco logo on a car (real or model.) I would rather see the Marlboro logos on models instead of white patches. Barcodes are OK, if the model represents the car that was raced with barcode livery. Personally, I would rather my models be accurate than politically correct! :)

I think the barcode livery is a good compromise.....it is not advertising the brand by name, however it is taking place of where the brand would be..............im for Marlboro logo and am glad they are sponsors, but am content with the barcode..............

But Marlboro has copyrighted the barcode livery and many items are not available with the barcode, either, especially the F1 models. Your only choice is to buy an after-market decal set and apply it yourself.

    Beautiful stuff!

Over the years I have collected many Marlboro patches and stickers to upgrade my suits, jackets and helmets with the proper regalia.

disallowing Marlboro logos is ridiculous. I'm a non-smoker but have no issue with tobacco advertising. They should ban all advertising logos, then, as almost everything is hazardous to health that is bought.
