Jimi Hendrix

I'm looking for the guitar tab (online or a songbook) for the song "peace in mississippi" from Hendrix's "crash landing" album. I've searched all over the internet and could not find it, though maybe one of the fellas could help. it's not even on iTunes...grrr. FYI for all you hendrix fans, this song is a jam. thanks.

I use to do some Hendrix stuff but unfortunately, I never did 'Peace in Mississippi'.

I assume you have the tab for Voodoo Child. Rather than searching around I'd suggest some headphones, distortion and play it in E. Remember that Jimi used that stepped-down tuning like SRV. If you're tuned naturally, you'll give yourself a nervous breakdown trying to figure it out. A lot of the same phrasing as Voodoo Child, pounding on open E with breakaway fill riffs, mostly at the 12th position. If you tackle it that way you'll remember it much better than trying to learn it rote from tablature. Definitely a worthwhile song--call me critical, but I thought that kids was only so-so.

thanks, but my days of transcribing my own stuff are long over; i was never that good at it in the first place. the search continues. i'm shocked how hard it is to find this tab.
