Anyone feel it? I had clients coming in this morning saying their dogs were all freaked out. I slept through but wish I felt it.

Somehow, the couple years I spent in San Diego rather ruined me for any earthquakes under a 6 or so. Barely even noticed those since I was used to bobbing around in state 5 seas in submarines :)

I felt it at around 4:30 this morning. Took me a few seconds to realize what must be happening.

My cat was acting strange all night and woke me up running back and forth across the place around 5am, so I guess that explains it.

    How many degrees?...
In mexico we usually have earthquakes, but its been almost
a year since the last one... Id a dream about earthquakes 2
nights ago... So i really dont want it to come just like the last year..
I dont like earthquakes, because when I walk I feel just like
to be drunk.... But if im not... why to walk like this?? I prefer to get drunk
and then walk like this. LOL
If someone felt it how it was?
U dont have many earthquakes in the US, despite California, Do U?

This quake from what i heard was about 5.4. All in the Ozark Valley (Southern Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky and Missouri areas) Right were they are predicting the 'BIG' one could hit at anytime... I must have slept through it. I remember feeling one about 30 years ago though here in Illinois. Felt like a convoy of trucks going down a highway next to your house..... Just a small rumble/vibration...

So, when the big one hits, we all will know it... Great, just another excuse for the frigen gas companies to raise the prices again, they are averaging about 15 cents a day now.... I think we need a major quake to wake up this country..... But of course with no injuries..... and no Ferrari's damaged too.....

    How ironic is this:

my parents live in central Illinois. They have been in San Francisco for the past 2.5 weeks (dad had surgery).
my mom said: "can you believe it, we leave Peoria for the land of earthquakes, and miss the one in Illinois!"

I don't know if the earthquake caused this, but I couldn't open my front storm door yesterday morning. It's like the house shifted 1/8th of an inch. I had to use a rubber mallet and a block of wood to pound the door open (it wasn't locked) and now I need a new door and jamb. And the side door on the garage now fits perfect - it used to blow open.
