My stepdad is going to be repainting a few vehicles that he has collected (all examples of cars he used to own when he was younger which I think is neat). I figured that I would suggest getting a clear bra put on all of them after their new paint. Is this a good idea and also what are some reputable places around here to get it done? Thanks.

I've had a clear bra installed on all my cars and just recently had one done on my 348. I highly recommend the shop that did my 348. I think they also do a fair amount of work for Fox Valley Motor Cars/Lamborghini Chicago. Their shop is in Burr Ridge. Here's their info:

    Travis,

I'd recommend that you first do a dealer search on Xpel.com. Then talk to the companies you've chosen and get a feel for how knowledgeable they are and if they stand behind their work. Most important of all, go see the work in person. This is crucial as you will be able to see the quality of work this company performs.

Xpel is a software provider of templates for specified vehicles. Many companies use the software in conjunction with their preference of film. The most important thing is to look at the actual work of the company. The ultimate outcome of the installation is based on the experience and skill level of the installer.
