Hey Kenny, Well, I'm sure the problems with that beautiful coupe got sorted out and I'm not surprised, she is looking great ! I can only imagine what that car would go for here in the states - - - they're are no Valeo coupes !! I'll tell ya, once you get into a relationship with that Valeo system, it is an absolute mind blower ! My Rachel has been a dream to both drive and look at. Hey, she's even been inspirational - belt buckles, jewelry and most recently, Spider Top, they all came from her. Life is good One day soon, I hope to be able to meet all you folks - Pat, you, Pom and the rest of the gang. I haven't been to BK since I did "Last Flight Out" for NBC in the 80s' - - so I'm really due for a fun visit. Cheers, Hank

Just wanted to let everyone know I posted an ad in FerrariAds.com for my 1986 Mondial 3.2 Cabriolet. (See my profile pic) I'm building a house, and I need the space. I'm trying F-Chat first in the hopes that the car will go to someone who appreciates how wonderful the Mondial's are. If you are seriously considering a Mondial, please send an email or PM. Some highlights of why I chose this particular car. 3.2 motor: IMO, the best performance vs. reliability and maintenance cost choice. Non-motorized belts. Decent rear seat comfort. The car spent first 17 years in Redwood City, CA maintained by Tony Palladino (first at FLG, then Modena Motors). No stories. When Tony did the PPI, it was reassuring that he had known the car and both owners since new. (Since then it has been maintained by Brian Crall in San Ramon). The car had 43k miles, so it had been driven enough to keep it in good shape, but not so much as to wear it out. I had Brian perform a 45k service a few years ago, and I have been fixing the small little things that weren't perfect. The car won a Silver at Concorso in 2006, then a Platinum in 2007. It currently has the stock TRX's mounted (for the show) but I love the look with the 360 rims and the P-Zero's. It's as nice a car as they come. And, with a $2,000 stereo, and $3,500 in rims and tires, my loss is someone else's gain. Asking $35,900 or best offer. Hopefully, the link works. http://www.ferrarichat.com/ferrariad...uct=1044&cat=2
Here's a photo of the car for sale: I tried the link. It's correct but it didn't work for me, Image Unavailable, Please Login
Thanks Hank and Russ. Just recovering from a trip to LA. Flew into the UK yesterday. I tried to get to Cars and Coffee but never made it as we met up with a guy from *********** and Clubscud and went to Big Bobs cruise in North Hollywood and it being so late we could not get up early enough on Saturday. Will be returning their again as we loved LA and surrounding area. Maybe see one or two of you next time (Hank).
I can't believe this !!! You were a mere 2 km from where I live and - - I almost buzzed Bob's on Friday night in Rachel and I'm sure if I had, you would have snagged me. RATS ! OK, next time you sneak into LA.......PM me, you **** Seriously, i'm glad you had a good time here and may the good times roll for you regardless of where you are Cheers, Hank
Hank, I definitely will. I am not on fchat much these days but did post up about cars and coffee in the Southern California section before we went. My idea would be that if you were there I would of found your car no problem. I promise to touch base next time The chap I met up with was called Chad, he is an illustrator and being with someone who knows the area makes a difference.
Me!!! Having fun at our yearly dutch section drive out. http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?p=137647092#post137647092 Image Unavailable, Please Login
Roel - Your car always looks so poised and balanced - one of my favorite Mondials anywhere! I am thinking I am going to take the wheels off of my 1:18 348 and put them on the HW 1:18 Mondial to have a model of YOUR car. I've reposted another picture of the Roel Mondial from the other thread here. To totally repost another picture from Roel's referenced thread, another of my favorite Mondials in Europe is "TRY 356", a black 3.2 coupe (go figure). Here is another picture by P. V. Nguyen of TRY 356 from the Dutch thread: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
