I agree the 916 is one of the best looking bikes ever. You are a lucky man.

Indeed, life is good and I am lucky, thanks gents :D

The 916 and 328/308, IMO, are icons and timeless classics; nobody designs or breeds soul into machines like the Italians. I have eyes for none other :drool icon:

I come from a family of surgeons (uncles, father, brother); I do not hear the end of how dangerous bikes are (and they're right). My brother is an ortho and in an effort to dissuade me from riding sends me ER pics of various appendage amputations he's performed resulting from mcycle accidents.

Life is good when you have both of those. I have a 02 360 F1 Spider an a 06 999R Xerox. I have had a few days where I have had the pleasure of riding both in the mountains. Those are the BEST. I also enjoy taking the bike up to the mountains during the day and the wife and car downtown during the night!

I have wondered how many on the board has had the pleasure of owning both. I need to get a picture posted up with all of the toys!

Your house does look cool as well! Have fun ride safe and don't get caught! Speaking of getting caught, I got caught yesterday on the Xerox doing 65 in a 35 coming out of a corner in the mountains. The sad thing is that I was taking it relatively easy.

A day full of Italian erotica err I mean exotica is unbeatable :D Hope you didn't get paper for that speeding infraction  Which reminds me, I posted in a thread last week about this - I was invited by a cop in his cruiser to race in my 328!!

Well, unfortunately it did come with a peice of paper. But all is still well! You have to pay to play. Sometimes in ways we don't intend.

So did you race the cop or not? I am assuming not.

A little late to respond here, but yes, we did race. It was most excellent

And methinks that's a 1098 no? Not too familiar w.the 848...if I start looking at them I might do something stupid!

Between the 916 and 328, it's about even. I will often ride then drive or vice versa in the same day, one right after another. I have a 92 SS that's my commuter so that gets the most use, and then the ST4 gets out infrequently for overnighters or when the wife wants to go for a bike ride.

Nice taste :) Is that a 748 or 916? I have a quarter faired yellow 92 750SS daily commuter and a yellow ST4 as well. 3 is my limit!
