I have a 2005 575 and my previous car was a 1998 550, I might be crazy but the 550 seemed to handle much better, and inspire confidence more than the 575. I have heard early 575's were soft, but mine is one of the newest, so its driving me nuts that the car drives worse than my old one. I was thinking about purchasing the springs and swaybar from the GTC package, has anyone done this? And how much did you spend on the parts? What does the package consist of other than CC brakes? Has anyone done anything else beside this that improved handling? Did it help? I had the factory 18" wheels for awhile and then had some new one-off wheels made that are beautiful! They are a five spoke 3 piece setup with a chrome lip with factory center caps. I will post some pictures when I get a chance. It handles slightly better with the new wheels than the stock ones. Any help would be appreciated!
    Thanks

We have sold the upgrade several times (minus the expensive CCM brakes). It includes:

    Steering ECU
    Suspension ECU
    Springs
    Swaybar + bushings

Give us a call on 336-499-2500 if you're interested in discussing further.

The stock US production 575, ('02-'05) all received the 'Skyhook' suspension. Replacing the items that Daniel listed will certainly cure the 'soft' feel your experiencing. The GTC springs are 35% stiffer in front and 15% stiffer at the rear + a 73% stiffer antiroll bar.

Since we're on this topic. Can someone explain the difference between the GTC Handling Package and the Fiorano Package?? Thanks

I'm looking at a Barchetta that has the "Fiorano Package.

    Kuzman,

The Fiorano package pertains to suspension while GTC is much more. Others with lists of the packages will probably chime in, but I know the GTC pack comes with ceramic brakes, some cf interior bits, CF racing seats (already standard in Barchettas). The Fiorano package is a more aggressive suspension set-up (I believe).

Someone else, correct me if I'm wrong.

The Fiorano Handling Package = GTC suspension. GTC Handling Package also includes CCB system, Sport Exhaust, 19" Modular wheels. Racing seats and CF interior is not part of either package.
