i love how the accuracy of the included 'storyline' varies email to email, chinese whispers style what was it this time? "football player crashes brand new $1m 2008 Ferrari 355GTS"
the press have been doing it for a long time. a car was quoted in the late 80's/early 90's with 3 different purchase prices, for the same car!!!!!! don't know if the owner played a part in it? he said he didn't write the articles, or ask them to be written, but went on record to " set the record straight" **** wasn't i confused.
see? you worked it out all by yourself. newspapers write things...sometimes the facts have nothing to do with it. good boy. i'm so proud of y ou.
that the owner agreed to appear in the paper to " set the record straight" is that right? and why would anyone want to big note themselves with a luxury car? looks to me a sign of flaunting wealth. very 80's/90's
i don't understand the first line. are you talking about setting the record straight that it wasn't MY F40 that was crashed in dandenong rd? hey...where's the link to the motor article again?? *shrug*
here you go scuddles... http://gallery.aussieexotics.com/gallery/2484779_3aShD/1/130385815_L9Mjv/Original you name is plastered there. (albeit with the wrong pic attached) and photos of you all through the article. so....tell me again about the articles about my F40? say what?
i don't know, you're telling the story? i guess one would have to let the greater community know that it wasn't their car in question, since there were a million people lining up to buy it, for full freight of course.
all i see are a group of guys having fun. remove the link who invited motor? can you post the link to the sultan's letter? my son's friends said it was the best show and tell they had seen.
it's a link to a webpage in the public domain. just like the links to my webpage that you're so happy about having posted. i don't see how it differs.
you know there are photos of you doing the same, right? and by the way....it was an F40 in 1989...i was very proud of it. i STILL don't see the problem.
For the record, everyone in Alice asked for MOTOR not to post personal detAILS.....NOT JUST scud. They went against wishes. * I am in drunk in Vegas but above is true.
when the F40 came out it was the most extraordinary car. it wasn't just a bit better in performance like a murci compared to a 599 or something....it was 7 seconds a lap faster than a 959 at Fiorano!! there was nothing near it in performance and set all sorts of new benchmarks, and is still considered an icon today by many. obviously (by all the photos etc) i was very proud to have owned it, and used it as often as possible while i had it.
but that's the whole point dingo! that's exactly what happened with me, yet scud keeps bringing it up like he's not in the same boat. that's the stupidity of it! now go and sleep it off.
and there are guys out there with better cars than you could imagine owning, and you don't even know who they are cause they don't get infront of the camera like a dork. what about the lambo owner who took the rip?
if i had an f-40 ide pose naked in front of it for the papers if they asked me cause i wouldn't care........................
thank you!! exactly right. and that's NOW. imagine almost 20 years ago. they were like god's chariot back then.
you were ambushed to stand beside your car and let a rouge reporter take a pic, then not tell him the price, and when they did publish a price, you didn't sue for damages? c'mon pp, imagine if that was me, you would have a field day. remember i said the same thing about the lambo owner taking the rip, if that had of been me, and you said you wouldn't say anything, then you ****ed up with the CS comment before, which left you wide open. the internet caught up with the silly things you did in the past cause you were caught up in the hype. try posing infront of the camera with a rare expensive car now, and cop the heat that comes your way. can you read out the story, cause some of it is hard to read. all i can pick up is you and wife looking for a car for weeks OS, offers at 2 mill but you wouldn't sell etc. Image Unavailable, Please Login
back in those days so many prices for the f-40 where being throw around ............but most plp i the know would know its real value ...........if i had any supercar and a newspaper ask me to get my photo taken with the car i would care .......prob get more action anyway..................
