Grrrrrrrrreat looking car and a very nice colour. I have had nr 164 (They used even numbers for LHD cars). Now I own nr. 006 (the prototype, belonged to De tomaso himself)look in my topic to see more. Congrats! these are very fine cars, and very usable,. Only fuel conssumption is a bit over the top. BTW do you join the Maserati Classic in Dresden this year? I will, but dunno if we will be with the Merak or with the Kya.
Heyyyyyy...Mr. HB is running warm here!!! Welcome to the COMM (Club of Mad Men!).But ....your garage needs a Maserati sign! Ciao! Walter
@Walter Dresden is 800+ kms.. the Merak uses 13 litres on 100 kms, the Kyalamy 25......... We will see how far the budget goes. We have Le mans, a factory visit to Modena, Dresden, Luxembabwe trip... darn. Buy Shell shares!!!!
Lucas, if you buy an Italian exotic it doesn`t make sense to care about the fuel-prices! Otherwise its better to buy a VW Golf, or? Ciao! Walter
Btw, to come back on the quetion in the first post: 198 Kyalamis were built. If you look at the factory site (www.maserati.com) you can find more details. If I remember well, 124 4200's and 74 4900's. So you got a real exotic car.
