You are absolutely right about making it look unique.. I knew the fact about black headlights on non-red cars only. That's why I asked few days ago what was the previous color of the car.
Regardless...I am sure that such a perfect example and the fact who is the current owner will sell the car quickly. Best of luck. Me personally and I am sure a lot other F-chat members would love to see some final pics of your garage with the F50 still there

I just saw the ad for your F50 in FerrariAds.
I visit the site every once in a while looking at the 550s and 575s in there.
What a treat to see such a car for sale there.
Good luck with the sale, looks like an incredible car. I wish I had the $$ for it.

Here is a snapshot of the ad page (this thread will still be around long after the ad has come & gone).

By the way, is the CF weave still visible through the repaint?

No, nor will it have Classiche Certification as long as I own it, but I'm certain that if anyone was willing to pay Ferrari's price for a certificate and some photos, the car will prove to be as original as the day it was manufactured, except for the dashboard air vents which I replaced with carbon fiber ones. I have the originals as well so even that little detail will be accurate.

I understand but I guess some people really want to know so it's better that they see it here rather than walk away disappointed clutching their cashier's check, unable to pull the trigger when they discover the lack of a CC. To mislead a potential purchaser who absolutely believes in Classiche Certification would be a form of abuse. :)

Good Luck with the sale. I wish someone local can buy it, so we can keep the car in town. Always nice to see it at our Saturdays Cars and Coffee.

I'm going crazy trying to figure out what you'll be getting as a replacement for the cars you're selling. Good luck with the sale.

Is the cf weave is visible through the repaint?
When you repaint a cf car do you strip the old paint or just paint over. I know next to nothing about painting cars but am curious.

    Andrew,
I wasn't into "old" Ferraris, but lately I absolutely love the 250 SWB. Especially after I saw the 1:18 model by CMC. Do you have a link--I am curious to see it?
