........thanks Shahedc. Actually the Benz get's driven the most inside Cairo..........my garage has two entrances, one behind the Benz and the other behind the two F cars.
oh ok cool.. is that a C350? As you will see from my profile, I am a "Benz Fan" myself. but I have become a Ferrari fan as well in the past year or so...
I'm a Benz fan as well.........love the AMGs. But now my SL55 AMG will be replaced by a 599GTB. My C class is a C280 with a 3 liter engine. It's great for driving in Cairo.
Asked my dealer about it.. Lebanon is excluded from this code, we still get our cars as Euro spec (without the sidemarkers)...
Very nice indeed, strange that you opted for an exact replica of your F430, kinda neat but for me I would have tried another color to complement my 430 and set the Scuderia apart more, but that's me.
Thanks for sharing Tarek Gorgeous car. *drools over keyboard* With the scud being your 'weekend-beast' and the 599 being your more civilized, maybe even daily Ferrari, do you reckon you'll still use the F430?
Thanks Carlo . I love my F430.......I won't give it away. I'll still drive the F430, even with the other two around.
Tarek may I ask you something ? Why don't you get a Ferrari supercar ? One of the 255 GTO, F40, F50, F60?
Wow. How'd I miss this thread? Congrats on the new car. Totally awesome. The Scuderia might be my favorite car since the 355 GTS. The rear end, particularly the exhaust, is so awesome looking.
thats what you think at the moment.... one real drive in your scud and you will look for buyers for the f430
Congrats Tarek! I hope you enjoy your Scuderia in great health! What an amazing car! I had the opportunity to go out for a nice ride in a Scuderia today, and although it left me relatively speechless, I think I can muster up a few things to say; The car is was Black/Black with gray stripe, red brakes, and gray wheels. The look alone as you already know, is just stunning. The pictures of the car barely do it justice. It is something that has to been seen to believed. However, the drive/ride of this thing is what really stuns. When you are driving like a human, the car is very docile, comfortable, relatively quiet, and unlike the Stradale, you do not hear every rock and pebble from the road hitting the inside of the wheel arches. The performance aspect...is astonishing. Compared to a regular 430, on public roads, I really believe you aren't going to notice an extreme difference in power. However, the shifting/transmission are absolutely indescribable, thus making the car feel faster. The shifts as most have seen via YouTube are instantaneous. They happen so quickly that you do not even recognize the change. In "RACE" mode, at W.O.T. The car sounds and shifts just like a Formula One car!! The sound is intoxication and the handling and braking dynamics are simply perfect. The car begs to go faster and faster and really harnesses its power in a way no 500+ H.P. road car (that I have experienced) ever has. I know, this post is worthless without pics, but I didn't realize the car was in and I didn't have a camera ready. Hopefully I will get a chance to post some pics soon. As you drive the car more and more, I think you will be mesmerized by its capabilities especially in comparison to the 430 and 599. The new technology in the Scuderia's F1 system alone may have you choosing to drive that over your others. Enjoy! -Marc
I believe it's true that the new 2008 Ferrari 430 Scuderia has the fastest gearbox in the road going cars... Of course the FXX could have faster shifts but it's not road legal if I'm correct. So, the 430 Scuderia is really ASTONISHING. The question is that, does the 430 Scuderia get from 0-330 Km/h in 20 seconds? I couldn't believe it but I've heard it a lot. Haha, Tarek will answer me after he does it with his car . See you guys .
No way you've read it as there is no way it does it !!!! Koenigsegg CCX (800hp): 29.9s SLR 722 (650hp): 29.6s LP640 (640hp): 31.5s 997GT2 (530hp): 35.2s Alpina B6S (530hp): 41.5s Corvette Z06 (512hp): 44.6hp In essence this data confirms again that the peak power is quite key in determining a car's 0-300 performance and maybe even more relevant than the shape of the torque curve etc. Interestingly, Sportauto also tested the 300-0 stopping distance: CCX: 305m SLR722: 306m LP640: 295m GT2: 283m B6S: 327m Z06: 300m
O.K, I've made my research to check where did I read it and I found it out. Intouch1, please check the following link from Ferrari World, the official Ferrari website. http://www.ferrariworld.com/fwe/events/430Scuderia/index.jsp Press on English and check the statistics of the car... Thanks in advance. See you soon man .
