Du försöker lite på svenska tack för det.Do you have any swedish connections? Have you been to Sweden? Ciao Magnus

Are you taking the car to the Italian car tour tomorrow at Ferrari of Washington? Joe Ghibli SS #2110
Unfortunately no. The car is currently at Radcliffe Motorcars having a few items taken care of. Radcliffe is having an open house next saturday. The car will still be there, so if you get a chance to stop by you can see it there. Radcliffe's website is rmccar.com for more details. By the way, based on your profile I would say you have a very nice collection.
That dealership seems to be Auto Becker in Dusseldorf, I visited on ce in 1985, they were big back then, did their own magazine, I remember that gold and red Boxer that can be seen in the photo. They seem to have vanished.
Yep, that was the Showroom of AUTO BECKER here in Düsseldorf, Germany. Vanished 4 years ago! Unfortunately I don`t know the VIN of the Ghibli in the photo. Ciao! Walter
Congrats! #115.49.2110 was sold new to Edmond de Cazelet, a banker from Monaco but resident in Southern France. He also owned a 300S at that time which he had road registered for public roads. He is now 96 and still GaGa about cars! Ciao! Walter
Walter, Edouard de Cazalet - Société Marseillaise de Credit. Along with his father they controlled the bank from the early 1900s. Ghibli #2110 was a special order from the factory in Black with Pigskin interior including headliner. In place of the cushions behind the front seats it has a tall storage bin. He brought the car to the US when he was working in Washington DC with the World Bank. The story I was told that he split from his wife and returned to France. She stayed in the DC area with the Ghibli. She drove the car for many years until it was sold to an Airline Pilot based in NC. He restored the car and had the engine rebuilt by Holman Moody with oversized (?) pistons. (It is the strongest Maserati V8 I've ever driven). From there is was sold to a Lawyer from Philadelphia that moved to the DC area. He owned it for about 10 years. I purchased it from him with books & tools. Joe
I'd have to do research on it. Walter may have something. Where did you purchase the car? Also I hope you will bring the car to the Maserati owners National Meet in the Poconos in June. www.italiancarsatpocono.com Joe
Bob, I have not much: #115.49.2136 was owned in 1985 by Dr. Glen Heigerick from Cincinnati, OH. When did you buy the car? Ciao! Walter
I bought the car last month. I heard that the previous owner bought the car about 10 years ago from a doctor in Ohio so that makes sense. Thanks for your help. Bob
Hallo Look at the number on this. And this is me in the background taking notes about the cars. Image Unavailable, Please Login
