I'll find myself in Italy in July. Is it possible to visit any parts of Ferrari factory or is it all off limits? Thanks, Mike
I believe there are no factory visits from now til about November due to building works Obviously the various museums and stores remain open
What a shame to go all that way and then not being able to take the tour. I did it last year and it will be indelibly etched in my mind forever (well 'til the next time I visit at least).
I'm scheduled to visit the factory in Maranello on Jun 27th of June at 10am Anybody else going to be there at that date?
Send an email to your nearest Ferrari dealer. Does not matter if you bought the car from them. They will send you a form to return along with a copy of your registration or title. Use the search function for more information on the visit, where to stay etc - plenty of good info there
I hope you get to go. I was there last year and it truly is a memorable experience. I even got to see a buddy of mine's 599 being built on the V12 Line. For anyone else that has been recently, how goes the progress on the new production facility? The concrete supports for that structure were amazing? I can't wait to go on a tour when that facility is done!
Why is it that Ferrari only lets their owners into the factory unlike Lamborghini, Pagani, etc. Exclusivity?
September 17 - day before my hubby's 40th birthday! The first week after we confirmed the date he was like a child before Christmas, calling me up from work "I can't eat, I can't work, I can't focus, all I can think about is the trip" - and that's almost five months away! LOL
yes. although i'm pretty sure the lambo tour has to be set up through the dealer and you have to call ahead and set up a tour of pagani. I think just walking in may not do it. in fact, lambo is very disorganized and wasn't even ready for me although i had a tour set up at a particular day and time. That said, they were very gracious and gave us the best tour of the three. Including lots of swag.
LOL @ Stew.... I started to, then thought, no, I shouldn't, and looked again, and thought yeah, I should, and thought better of it... Mike in Kuwait
It's really important to be "set up" thru your local dealer and confirmed with FNA if you want to get in the gates....even then, I have heard of typical disorganization, but at least with your original confirmation in hand you wouldn't be turned away.... I can see myself plastered against the gates, "Hey, you ^%&*^ers! I have a WHOLE KEYRING full of Ferrari keys!" *gate remains firmly mag locked....*
Thank's all for the info. Emailed IMSS, got an immediate response. They were very helpfull and I am booked to visit 14/07/08. Unbelievable! Can't wait.
