I got called out of town Sat AM on business and didn't have time to set DVR (Hyatt in Chicago didn't even have SpeedTV). Does anyone have a copy that they can burn on a DVD?

    Appreciate your help.

I appreciate the info re: places to download it, but I am really looking for a DVD so that I can watch it on a TV (instead of a laptop monitor).

I don't mind watching it over the internet, but I have DVD of all races from 2007 to current.

    thx

If your DVD player is fairly recent ( 2005- ) you can burn the files on a dvd and play it on your player.

This is only true if you're dvd player supports DivX or Xvid (that is the way the video was encoded) if not it's like giving a French book to someone that can only read Spanish. If you're player can play DivX/Xvid files it will probably have a DivX logo on the front of the actual player probably near where the Dolby logo is.

If you want software to convert the file (that is translate in this analogy) most items are pay. Here's a good resource with guides on how to re-encode.

I read where as of the Spanish GP, they were no longer going to rebroadcast the races. If F1 got any 'prime time' exposure on Sunday afternoon, it is gone except for Canada and Brazil. It is as if we don't get enough NASCAR on Speed!

According to their schedule Turkey and Monaco will have same day replays.

OTOH Speed TV's new website is a farce. Idiots .

easier said than done, but I am working on it...apparently you have to build up 'points' in order to download.....surely one of my kids has time to F with it.

Well I can upload the race on rapidshare.com in .avi format if you want but you will need to have a premium account to download all the files then you just need to unrar the files and burn a DVD or you can share the file in your network and see it in any TV in your network or using your xbox like player.
