the most disgusting marketing BS you are ever likely to see, they had no intention of building that HOS

 

It started in the mid to late 90's and ran till mid 2004. Dont know where u have been U just recently arrived to Oz? They even had afew 24hr events on the mountain and as support race at MelbGP.

I still believe the Monaro stuffed the series up, it was running on a Corvette Leman engine and it never made it into production, it shouldnt of been running. I spoke to Paul Stokell afew years ago about it, he agreed hehe

I know the 24hr they had afew years ago they almost cancelled due to not enough safety/marshalling up the top of the mountain. Tho I cant remember the exact reason they cancelled Nations Cup, I guess it was sponsership wise?

The first one is a club member up here......putting a stripe on a normal 360 is like dying your grey hair brown or having a comb over.....still the same underneath!

I was told there were originally 15... 10x red (8x of these with stripe), 2x yellow, 1x black, 1x blue and 1x silver.

I know that one red/stripe had a serious run-in with parts of Sandown last year too...

 

funny that this thread got revived after almost 2 years?

anyone notice that theres 3 red CS' for sale at the moment on Carpoint? i think times are tough, and some people are having to sell.

Q & I were discussing, there was a guy who just left his 456 on Tedder with a for sale sign on it for a couple of days and it was there overnight etc, seems he was trying the same thing that people do with old Commodores.

 

Im going for a cruise with my mate who has the rossa Challange stradale with the stripe this weekend. Should be fun against the aston, will post pictures in good time.

 

It could also be owners flogging the old steed before their 430 Scud turns up.

i think it was 13 then the malaysian import, not sure if another import arrived as well?
