Hey guys, I just picked up another LP400S S2. It is loaded and on its way home to be completely restored. I will post some more pics as soon as it arrives. Brian Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes, she is VERY understanding. Interior is black. The car was originally Argento (silver w/black interior). I am planning on restoring it back to original colors so it should look like the car below when it is done. Brian Image Unavailable, Please Login
Right in your area Roy. You probably know more about it than I. Flew in to see it and was happy regarding the condition. It does need work but it is all there which is great. Brian
YOU were here and did not call to say HI!! Come see my collection.......SHAME on you.. You were less than 18 miles from me... Car will be great when it is done...good buy...congrats
Roy, I wish that I would have thought to make my trip longer. I would have really enjoyed stopping by. I flew in at 11am and was back on a plane by 1:30pm. It was my first time to Seattle and it was absolutely beautiful. I promised my wife a trip up there soon so next time we will stop by for sure. Brian
I was kinda hoping to see it show up at some NW events. But, I guessed once the gravity of a complete restoration set in it might trade hands. Congrats Please share pix when shes ready to purr..
Looks like Kie's car? Can't wait to see it when it's all done up. Congrats and good luck with the project.
now that must be something... opening the garage door and having three Countach's there glad to see the car in good hands congrats
i know that one. my buddy almost bought it, but the repaint was a turn off. you are my hero, please post tons of pics.your wife is also an amazing woman, all my married friends have no life!
these are great.. my brother inlaw has a 25th anni and a quattrov - i had the chance to drive both on different occations and must say that one must be attentive.. Very hard cars to live with, so your wif must be extremely understanding. congratulations on the acquisition - its a work of art and always will be, despite the minor hassles it has.
I had first dibs on that car but Kie and I couldnt come to terms. I was in a hard place since im in Iraq and can't complete the deal. Its unfortunate that the car slipped through my fingers the way it did. oh well ill keep my eyes open, Nsxer if you get bored with it let me know I really want a countach to restore and a S2 would be great.
Well done Brian! Im glad we had that talk... Seesh, judging by the wife comments you'd think Brian was asking his wife to tolerate him getting a harem of 15 Playboy Playmates to come live with them! Tip: Precede the purchase of any old car with a spousal gift that can be measured in carats and it is amazing how enthusiastic a woman can be about an impractical tired old classic that does not even run ;-) Joe www.joesackey.com
