Yes indeed. Note how the car is identified as a Miura S.

Clever positioning of the front plate to the side so air-flow to the radiator is not blocked...

    Thanks for posting!

i agree, we discussed this thing many times
in some ways collectors are not... "rational" guys and the difference in price is not proportionally related to how better a model is
the best variants ALWAYS command a premium, more collectable the car BIGGER the premium.

does it makes sense to ALL? not , it depends on what you are searching for

this also gives the opportunity to some passionates to buy a nice miura P400, that is a VERY cool car, for a 1/3 of a price of the much sought after SV or to a countach buyer to get a good FI QV one for a fraction of an average LP400 ( it is not a bad thing at all to me )

    Exactly.

And does it take a rocket scientist to figure that one out?

no, a normal graduating was enough for me ..LOL :)

i do not understand why to ged mad about the bigger price for a peculiar version, you do not agree is worth the premium?
do you feel the "normal" ones are better bang for the money?

just buy the "cheap" one and enjoy it : i know many people are more than happy with anniversary countach and do not really care the LP400 is 3x expensive

More like a 2002 Missouri tornado. Thats Jim Moore's squashed P400 # 3540, really a P400 badged as an S... No he did not have any insurance: "I never insure my cars..."
