Yes indeed, it is Blue Chiaro 106-A-38. Must be an early 308 GT4. Congrats for finding this rare color.

No definitely not. Look at Omgjon's pic, it is a light green.

don't forget Verde Bahram 2.443.546. Only two Dinos are supposed to be sprayed by the Factory in this colour (beside three Daytonas).

here are photo's of bleu chiaro and blu chiaro.

the dino vintage paint book has "bleu chiaro" and it is a light blue/green metallic color. i have pulled the same vintage blue dino for refference

the late 70's paint book has "blu chiaro" and it is damn near the same as blu dino.

all of these colors are metallics.

Well, I know it is not a 246, but it is the same paint code so here is are some pics of my Dino 308gt4 in the correct / original Glidden Salchi Eurolac Blu Chiaro, 106-A-38. I have the paint chip book for this period and I can verify that this *IS* Blu Chiaro. I think the confusion comes from the fact that a)if you mix paint to this code using modern paints you get a dark blue and b)in the eighties Blu Chiaro was completely different color. Take a look at this pics - I think this shoud answer all questions but I welcome comments.

    Thanks al lot.

The color is not as bad as I suggested, and it is very rare. Don't change it - maybe I have to do this with my Dino Blue 246, I'll think about it.

That is a pretty almost silver! And the 308gt4 is the unusual blue/green I had seen on an Asian post.

A Leventhal's third photo really shows that color in a great light. It actually looks like aquamarine. I think it would look very good on a Dino. Would you say it is fairly close to Hex#4 or Hex#6? http://www.colorcombos.com/color-scheme-172.html

The color differs extremely depending on the light from a dark silver to a light blue, very interesting and "live" a very nice color. Had the chance to buy this car, missed it!

Remember, Grigio Ingrid is a modern color, introduced around 1998 on the 456M GT. Based on a unique color with the same name for the "Bergman Ferrari". Seemed that this color had it's sources at GM.

In my mind the car on the pics is Marrone.

I once owned and probably still do own a collection of swatches and the collection was labelled, dino colors. I will look for it, and try and take pictures of it later today or tomorrow.

According to Speers color book there were 32 colors offered on Dino's. I have found pictures of 246 Dino's after much searching in 27 of the 32 colors. I'm missing
    Avorio Safari
    Giallo Dino
    Azzurro Cielo
    Prugna
    Bleu Chiaro Metallizzato

I have the other colors in different models. Search your archives so we can have an example in ALL the colors. Here they are again in order of Speers color book. If you have any photos that better represent the colors please post them. If I'm wrong in any, let me know.
