I don't see the reason for this response. The guy was not being rude or anything when he made this comment, he was just giving his honest take on the issue that's all.

Thats Sal, Jim's trusted friend and mechanic genius since the mid 70's...no mechanical issues with the car, he was just taking a look under the rear cover.

Anyone want to 'price' what a car in Hong Kong is going to cost to ship it stateside, and THEN modify the Euro car to meet US EPA/DOT requirements before you can legally register the vehicle?

    I didn't think so....

I really wish I had an extra million laying around. That is one wicked car. Good luck. I can't imagine selling something like that.

For a serious collector the car in HK is interesting as it is absolutely like new. All mileage is from going from owner's house to dealer for annual service. Owner has a lot of cars including 2 Enzos - one that was used and one that has a life like the F50 that is for sale

What do you do with it though? It would require expensive recommissioning in order to use it and that would destroy the premium you paid for the low miles.

i guess a car like that can be used as a) a magnificent display like a very expensive painting b) as a superman's a to b transportation.

it all depends on what the owner is after. Question is are you still willing to take the top off? :D

Agree and that may be why the car hasn't sold even though on offer for quite a while. I think it is close to selling now...

Wow! When will these prices stop? I guess steel bodied 250 GT SWBs more than doubled in price in the past year. Either that or Symbolic has put it there and plans to hold it until the market for them actually reaches that mark. SCM placed top of the line examples at $1.8 million in January 2007.
