I've seen many different pictures of the GTO, but I have never seen one in black. How many were produced? Does anyone know how many different colours were made? So far I've only seen yellow and red...

Your answer is "none". Several repainted to Black, but all 272 production cars were red. There is one prototype that was and remains yellow.

The yellow proto is kinda cool. It must feel great to be in possesion of a car with a unique paint job....

Marcel said no factory tan interior 288 GTO was built. Somebody went to a lot of trouble to create this 'new look' GTO.

So many people comment about certain colors on cars. Another factor to consider besides just the paint color is that of the trim parts used on the car and how it accents the paint color.

The black window trim blends in with the black paint so well and the headlight chrome reflectivity and marker lights just sets it off!
