I'm about to redo my garage. Any suggestions for flooring and color scheme. Can't find an experienced Ferrari interior decorator anywhere in the Yellow Pages.
    Thanks!

Good point. You are unlikely to keep your 360 for as long as your garage paint lasts so I would go for standard ferrari garage colours - black and white floor, white walls with red stripe... Boring but safe with whatever you might buy next

Everytime I try to "decorate" my garage, the spiders get pissed! I envy you guys whom have garages that you can even contemplate making them so nice. :)

    Cheers to you.

I'm in the process now doing my garage,I've painted the walls pure white, trim around the doors black, all light and plugs switched from white to black all the tracks for the garage doors red,and I'm putting up crown molding that will be white with a red stripe below and a hidden green rope light so when it on it'll look like green, white, and red stipe going around the garage about a foot from the 10" ceilings,I've done alot of searching for tiles and some were cheap and some were very pricee, will I found a tile that will be here next week,it locks together and is 19" x 19" and the garage is 27" x 21" so imagine black all along the outter edge and the next tile is red all the way around and then every thing inside is checked black n white,I did find a suppier that would do a horse but that was $2500,so no horse here,lol.....I'll post some pictures soon if you would like when its done here's some what it looks like now

Actually, i will probably have my Azzurro 360 for longer than I'll have the garage so color specific isn't a problem. Nice ideas so far. Any other ideas or pictures?
    Thanks.

I did yellow and grey with a very light floor. I have found the floor color greatly increases the available light. It's harder to keep clean, but it's worth it.

That looks really nice. Tons of room. Where did you find the huge Cavalino for your wall? I'd like to pick one of those up.

That is my Ginetta G20. A little tube frame British car with a Miata drive train. In the UK they use Ford Zetec drive trains. They make them for a single make race series, and tried (unsuccessfully) to sell them here as street cars. 1400 pounds or so, great fun in the mountains!

My brother in law made it out of stucco. The wall finish is stucco and he basically built up a large rectangular area about an extra inch thick, then we cut out a large Cavallino out of paper and stuck it to the wet stucco, and used a nail to outline it, then a putty knife to cut away the part we did not want. You could do a similar style cavallino design using joint compound on a regular gypsum board wall finish, or just tape together the pieces and use a jig saw on some masonite / mdf board. I finished it with paint - you can see it in the 'before' picture (Looked bad), then covered it with that Venetian plaster Behr product tinting it black.
I made the outline of the Cavallino in CADD and can print it any size I want using multiple 24x36 sheets (4 in this case). I have also made one for the Lamborghini bull. If you want me to send you one I can make .pdf files and email them to you to get printed locally to do the same kind of thing.
    It is unique!

Are you ****ing kidding me...?!? They couldn't sell a 1,400-pound car here...? Miatas are so popular, I can't believe this Ginetta didn't catch on. Here's a link, for anyone else interested in it.

Man it looks GREAT. I haven't ever done anything like that, so who would I take the pdf to for the cut? Would somewhere like Kinko's be able to handle it?

Better yet, why don't you just sell me yours and make another! :D j/k, j/k.

I added a 3 car garage to my home, had a 2 car on the front of house. I had previously used one of the special paint surfaces on the 2 car garage and I was not satisfied with results. Additionally, it was all ways dusty, it was uncomfortable walking barefoot.

So, in the new 3 car garage I had indoor/outdoor carpet installed. They glue it to the cement floor. That was 7 years ago and it still looks good. I can walk on it barefoot and it's great. My cars don't leak oil so have had no problems there. When I have a party, I use the garage as the party room. I have 3 large tables I lay out and everyone mills around them. When the eating is finished, I just move the tables together and there is lots of room.

The picture of the Scooter is when it was first installed, the rest are from Ferrari Club Breakfast that I hosted over the years.

The carpet has worn very well and I don't anticipate replacing it for quite a few years. By the way, it was very inexpensive, my 3 car garage cost about $700 including installation. Again, this was 7 years ago.

I can send you the .pdf files. You can take them to Kinko's or a blueprint place and have them printed out, then cut it out using scissors. Then you can trace it onto masonite, finished plywood, or whatever else you want to use for the cutout.
