    Kimi: Wow, not bad
Michael: Yes, and it's safe, too. Seven airbags, super suspension. And the T-jet turbo engine, so much power from 1.4 liters.
    (car stops)
Kimi: Okay okay, now it's your turn.
Michael: Look out... now I'm showing you how a retiree drives!

Speaker: Developed by Fiat, tested by Michael Schumacher.. the Fiat Bravo T-jet

They should show that commercial in the United States because no one knows what a Fiat is, or who Michael Schumacher or Kimi Raikkonen are.

There's a "making of" video nearby on YouTube. Though it's in German, at one point Kimi can briefly be seen speaking in English and describing how he had to memorize the German words and hopes he doesn't "sound completely stupid."

So what would be the point of showing it?

They should have a show on sports other than baseball, football, and basketball such as F1 in the Us so people can learn other 'cultures' so to speak.

Lol, I've only seen Fiats when i've been to South America. Isn't Alfa supposed to be coming back to the states, are they Fiat owned? We might see Michael and Kimi in a commercial yet... (not holding my breath)

Yes, Luis, Fiat controls Alfa Maserati, Ferrari. Alfa is upposed to be back in the USA and in the ALMS in 2009. To say that "no one" knows of Fiat, Michael Schumacher, and/or Kimi Raikkonen is, well..................................sort of like saying "most" know that Ferrari is changing drivers in 2009.

    Absolutes, are absolutely unlikely. ;}

Perhaps Michael didn't wanna risk spinning of the road?

    Ron,

It will be nice to see Alfa back in the states. They seem to be quite beautiful cars.

On the other subject, denial is not just a river in Egypt......:)

Alfa has been on the "brink" of a US return for over a decade.
    Almost, but not quite.
Kind of like a FWD Alfa. ;)
(What's the point of a Camry in Italian shoes?)

But there are tons of funny car/racer ads on youtube.

I wish FIAT would come back to the States. I had a Strada back in the late 70s. It was a hell of a lot of fun.

When is the 8C supposed to come over or has it already? I know a few people on FChat had orders on them.

How realistic? Those two happen to be sauntering around in the countryside in a cheap o Fiat when Kimi decides to toss the keys to Michael and he continues on barely pressing the gas ;)
