Awesome mate! They are brand new now!! Can you please tell us how much they cost you to retrim?? PM me if you do not want to disclose on Fchat. I am just curious as to what they would sting ya over there. I need to get my seats retrimmed soon.
No problem my brother from down under.. A few of the sections needed to be replaced, the rest were stripped down and conditioned, then dyed. All said and done, $850 USD... I am going to take some of the trim and console parts to them and have them done to match..
In case anyone in Houston is wondering who did them.... Lamborghini of Houston had their guys do the work while I was having some work done.
Looks very nice! I mainly have driver's bolster wear on my seats, and of course stretching of the bottom of the seat. I'm not sure yet what I'll do with mine... probably next year sometime, after getting some other things done. A friend with a 328 likes the Colorplus system (colorplus.com). They ask for a sample to get the color match to work in both direct and diffuse light. He then took about 8hrs to strip his seats with acetone (I think), and then used a small airbrush to apply the colorplus product. Looks very nice, and clean, and I understand the product doesn't seal the leather but breathes. Apparently on newer 348's, the seat bottom is separate from the front seat cushion, which I suppose helps reduce stretching. Not sure, though... anyone know?
I just replaced the leather on my 95 spider, and they are seperate top and botom pieces. It cost a helluva lot more than 850!!! ;o) Scott
