My wife's sister and brother-in-law are visiting Memphis from Orange County CA. We've lived in Memphis for nearly 10 years and have yet to go to Graceland, until yesterday...

We were ready for a tacky, tasteless assault but were pleasantly surprised at how well the tours are conducted. Still photography is allowed everywhere but no flash. What follows are pictures of Elvis' gt4. Note the dual downturned exhaust tips, the euro bumpers with US side marker lights, looks good in black (I've never seen a black one), and the wire wheels (he was, afterall, the King of bling before "bling" was a word). It's a '75 he bought in '76 ....in fact it's the last car he bought. There is a pic of the bill of sale.

Apologies for the unsteady camera work.

Man, what a beautiful car. I can see that car at Barrett Jackson fetching a 6 figure sale easily.

oddly enough, when elvis bought this car, he left the warranty booklet ( and owners manuals) behind. i now own this booklet. if it wasn't for the fact that when the original owner bought the car the book was changed from one serial number to another (a very common thing at hollywood sports cars), it might actually be worth something

That exhaust is stock for the early GT4, if I recall correctly.

It is indeed Tillman. The factory issued a technical revision (#266/9) on it in 1975 which instructed dealers to "change it". Hide it is more like it.
Here is a copy of that revision:

Of all the things my ex-wife and i fought over in the divorce i was most upset that she got the E P crystal squares from the Graceland giftshop.

I did keep the TCB sticker though.

That car will pull big money someday i'd think. It's still a Ferrari and it's still belonged to Elvis. Being that it was his only one it's known as "Elvis' Ferrari"

I know this is an old thread, but does anyone know who was the original owner of 10074? And how Elvis came to own it? And was it originally black, or did the King repaint it?
