I hit a pothole on Hwy 101 South today about 10 miles North of Ventura. I managed to bend the rim and put a major hernia in the sidewall of my PS2. At least it held air and I was able to drive to the Auto Gallery and leave the car and get a rental (MINI) across the street at the BMW dealer. Now the big question on Monday is will they be able to find me a ball polished rim and new tire before Thursday. I will be totally bummed if my car is not ready for Vegas.
It looks like I'll be off work on Fri, Sat, and Sun. If you guys don't mind, I love to go on some of the drives and hang out...
A couple of guys dropped out but a couple more are in - Jon's estimate is about right at around 28 cars. Or maybe 27 - Sam, hope they can sort you out in time! Or maybe 28 - of course we don't mind, Vegas bros rule!

Early Sat. morning will be the middle of the night for me. I hope the Autogallery has a rim by Wed. for me. I may end up picking the car up in Calabasas and meeting you in Onterio instead of Barstow. If the car is not done until later on Thursday, I may just meet up with you in Vegas.

Im back, Been sick for 3 weeks, colds are a bich in spring. 3forty8 is every one staying at same hotel? I noticed a couple of post that many choose Paris. If your planning to stay at one hotel whats the Hotel and what do I tell em to place me in that room pricing? This would be my first long trip in my beautiful rocket. nervous! Kruger, most of the guys are staying at Paris. They offered no preferred rate on a block of rooms, and indicated they could not commit to a room block due to the hotel being at capacity for this weekend. With that said, I believe all the guys who made individual reservations at Paris were able to get a room and they were still honoring a AAA discount.
