Any F-chatters know of anything going on that week? I will be visiting Shanghai that week on vacation and it would be nice to have a day or so to do something different that the tourist stuff and attend a Ferrari get together or visit the dealer? I don't have a hotel picked out yet, any ideas? Good place to stay (hotel or B&B) while vacationing there? Know of any great restaurants? Thanks for any help. Richard
well as you can see from this thread, shanghai ferrari owners don't go on ferrarichat can't help you on the gathering, u can go to the dealer show room which is in the JWM hotel. the ferrari store is by xin tian di. hotel wise, lots of ppl are gonna say Ritz carlton, i think its old and room def needs work. the best room/suite i ever stayed was at Westin, very trendy and high tech, 2 big screen plasma and a SICK bathroom to boot. highly recommended. restaurant wise, if you can eat chinese food, u should seek out the local experience, thats why ur there for. the western food, top joints like jean george, m on the bund and danieli are all overrated, so so food at the best.
yeah she said thats what thailand is known for, so i should seek out full experience while i was there. singapore is not known for whores, isn't it?

That wud be me (and a polite description of me ), but I wudnt call my wife a malay lady She's actually far more exotic than that, being from the Pacific Islands of Fiji. We live about 100m off Orchard Rd which is probably why you see us around town a lot.
