Come on Davey.... You know that neither you nor carbon are my type!!! And Carbon, if you want to keep all your posts Ferrari related, then tell us all about this 355 !!!! (Are you ever going to pay for the damage you caused to this Ferrari while it was in your custody???) (This post will probably get me two weeks off (maybe just one with good behavior ) ..... I don't think you should be banned but I do think you should mind your own business. Why should he pay for it? Was a promise to pay for any damages extracted from NNO before he was given the keys? Did it not have insurance? If you can 't afford to insure/fix your Ferrari, don't act like a big shot and toss someone the keys. I am aware of the very good reputation of the dealer whose possession this Ferrari under. It still doesn't negate the fact that he screwed up.
Dwight, I spoke with Bruce earlier today - didn't he tell you to knock this off...? You can't defame my character any more than I've already done myself, so you and your friends look quite foolish. Also, that picture you posted is not the same car, and you know it - not that I expect any more from you. I'm flattered by how driven you are to enmesh yourself in my private affairs. Here I am thinking I'm a nobody, but you guys are showering me with constant attention.
Why all this Yurrup fixation? It is NOT some spiritual place. Ok, it's beautiful and all, but it's no different to backpacking from Detroit to Miami.
Why don't you enlist? Seriously. Go on, do it. Unless you are a coward. Or too selfish. What's your excuse for not helping out in this ever so worthwhile war?
The comment was directed at Pat. What do you think, DrS, is it a good idea for him, too? Or is Pat somehow "above" enlisting?
Spot on Darth. Jerry, Darth is right. My comment could be directed at both. And how did you miss in your analysis of my post history that I am an in fact enlisted man? And as I re-read my comment, I do not see how I said anyone was "above" enlisting. Quite the reverse in fact.
I don't analyze your post history, but I do know you are an enlisted man, DrS. How can anyone miss it? You rammed it down a few people's throats a while ago, and were called on it. By Dale, I believe, but I could be wrong. My point is simply that I feel there are a few fchatters who band together to take cheap shots and lynch NNO over matters that don't even directly involve them. This is completely unacceptable. And some of the tactics they employ to carry out the public flogging are ludicrous (bringing up paltry amounts of private debts, posting pics of unrelated cars, etc.). Note that after taking his potshots, Pat has not answered any of the questions I have raised, either about the Ferrari accident, or about enlisting. He's above those, I guess. How very mature. Maybe he can also rise above the childish mob mentality he's displayed so far. And I am genuinely curious as to what Pat's reasons are for not doing something so noble as enlisting and serving the country?
GET OFF YOUR HIGH HORSE OR GET A PAD FOR YOUR PERIOD PAT DOESNT HAVE TO ANSWER TO ANYONE.....AS FAR AS WHAT PAT HAS DONE, ITS NONE OF YOUR F ING BUSINESS AS WELL AS DR S YOU TALK ALOT OF SHEIT HERE.... LATER.........
Unlike Dan I have worked hard for where I'm today. If I was younger maybe but there wasn't a conflict when I was of age. Have you? Not too mention I'm now married have two children own my house. Have all my cars paid for, owe less than 1/4 of my mortage (can't get rid of all of it). Dan has said that he has nothing holding him here. I do. You have a pretty big mouth for someone with only 150 posts or so.
From post #77. Your excuses for not serving are just that...excuses. A lot of soldiers are in the same boat as you. And have multiple other problems. Doesn't seem to stop them? Maybe you need new batteries? Bruce, who died and made you king? <crickets>
My suggestion - instead of going abroad, just go down to your library or used book store, and find some of the old books by Harry Franck. I've enjoyed hours and hours reading about his "vagabonding" adventures around the world in the early part of the 20th century. I think he did nearly 20 books. He just stuffed some essentials into a knapsack and went. Hopped freighters, slept on the ground, stole chickens to eat. I certainly couldn't do that, but it's fun reading about it.
