It sure looks like a baby Ferrari Spec's please!! Could be a nice daily driver and entry to the Ferrari world... Okey, I wanted to bash it - but I can't.
CALIFORNICATION! I believe this to be a caricature rather than homage. It is as if the stylist cut-pasted bits and peices of previous and current models generating a rather bland/confused photoshop version of the 8C during a hurried lunch/vino break. The 8C is an absolute Italian beauty with jaw dropping proportions, lines, and oozes sex appeal while this seems to be Ferrari sacrilage evoking the name California. Had anyone elses nameplate been affixed to this it would be derided as a bore with poor aesthetics and busy cut lines. Surely in person my opinion will change for the better.
I like the front, the back is a little strange. I am sure in the flesh it looks great. Not sure how you can fit two seats in the back though, must be a tight squeeze even for a small child.
Atrocious. Ugly. A joke... Car is too fat, too tall. Wheels are ugly as hell as usual with Pininfarina. You can find the same at the corner's supermarket. Nothing new, from the front to the back, nothing that haven't been designed one thousand times by many car companies. You can build no legend with this kind of design. No beauty, no elegance. Just bad taste. Pimp-my-Ride MGB kitcar. Ferrari should fire the entire design team for once and hire some people who are more into art and design than into tuning. A huge disapointment.
Did anyone else think of 550 when they looked at its sideprofile? Because I saw it... Thought "WOW THAT'S A NICE SIDEPROFILE!!" and then realized it kinda looked like the 550 with a longer rear. Image Unavailable, Please Login
The technology of direct injection and the seven speed Dual clutch sequential should be an awesome combo.. Not sure about the looks just yet but on the road I'm sure it will be a head turner.. Thanks for the photos JB
I never expected it either but many on here thought it was. Still rear legroom seems to be non existent!
An unpleasant mix between a TVR Sagaris and the Lexus LF-A concept!!! The front lights remind me a bit of the Alfa 8C and the MiTo... The profile, I agree, looks like the one from the 550...
The specs are terrible also. The updated Aston V8 Vantage drives very well and is getting a 4.5 engine with 400hp+ AND is much, much cheaper and better looking... heck, the DB9 is cheaper too, with a V12 and gorgeous looks. The Crapafornia has the "rear seats", why? Who are going to ride there? Garden gnomes? Bernie Ecclestone? Small golf bags?
seriously, this is the 1st Ferrari that failed to impress me at first glance. doesn't look like a Ferrari at all, IMO.
Exactly. The 8C is gorgeous... has a bigger engine and is much more exclusive. This thing is ugly, expensive and not that well performing.
I can't believe Ferrari was (or is) having a debate about rear seats or a shelf. Where would the seats go?
Looks like something photoshopped together. Gimme a chassis for one and I'll put a GOOD looking body on it. Grille top edges way too sharp, prifeles on the flanks are just plain ugly, transition of fenders into headlights looks edgy from 3/4 view, insomma, the whole thing is a mess. Where are the times of agressive yet elegant Ferrari's.... It's gotto grow a whole lot to grow on me.
