Spring Ferrari Drive in GTA.

Sounds like fun -- count me in too! Is someone keeping tracking of the roster? It's actually good that someone else is hosting a spring drive because I've been super swamped lately and probably won't be able to put together one til July or so. Zak -- we can drive down to vaughan mills together. The biggest challenge in my mind is that if you get a large group together, it's going to be difficult to keep the cops at bay. Even the slightest bit of speeding, burnouts whatever and they will be pulling the entire group over, whether you were individually guilty or not. I'm going to talk to a few cop friends and see what suggestions they have...

nope i didn't have it out yesterday ... i know of 2 other red ones in the area.... btw I have new rims coming this week

 

Can't make the drive I'll be heading east delivering a 111R to Kingston.

I will be at Fairview around 10:15. How many planes do the OPP have cause I can only fit 2 stinger missiles in my trunk.

 

i had a thought and maybe you guys could let me know what you'd prefer to do...

would you prefer to stick with Plan A, whereby you guys drive up and we have a meet and greet here in Alliston and then head out for an hour ?
OR
should i meet you guys at Hwy 9 and 400 where we do some intro's and then launch right into a drive that will last about an hour and a half, and finish the drive here around 1pm before we settle into some serious food and socializing ? it might work better for you guys to have more time before you hit the road.
what do you think ?

on that note, i've got several guests coming up that will be staying the night so, by all means, feel free to stick around as long as you'd like into the evening.
i've checked with the B and B at the end of my street and unfortunately they are booked, but the Nottawasaga Inn is only 4km's away. i thought i would throw that out there for those that might want to 'tear it up' a bit saturday night. it's a really cool place for couples or families. think about it...
i've got a call into the Nott Inn regarding room space and rates so i'll post that as an option for you guys to consider. thanks to all of you.

For those who are meeting at Fairview mall. Lets meet at the back (northside) of fairview off of Fairview mall dr. Please list all that are coming before hand so we know who we are waiting for. Be there around 10am. I do not know if we are heading straight up from there or meeting the guys in woodbridge. We will also need a map of which route we will be taking.

I guess if the convoy meets at 10 at fairview, Vaughan mills meet should start around 10:30 meet time.

time to put the final plan into action...whose in for sure ? lets get an official headcount and start preying for good weather.
without a lot of feedback i've decided to meet you guys at HWY 400 and HWY 9 and after handshakes allround we'll hit the road for an hour and a half before the guys hit the shop for beers and the ladies hit the lounge chairs for whatever it is they drink (?). we'll hook back up when we're ready shortly thereafter for lunch, as my house is about 100 meters over. again, i really appreciate the fact that you guys are making the trip and i think it is fantastic that we'll have friends, wives, etc. joining us. DO NOT BE SHY, get out with us and have some fun if you're currently 'on the fence'. don't regret not doing it !
bring a friend, girlfriend, wife, whatever...just come out. it's my first drive too!
