seems cheap for a 308 in that condition. but why does the car have the 208-front when the paintwork is original.

    Michael,
You are in europe and you're forgetting that US cars are a bit different. The pictured car does not have an oddball front. It is a series 1 US car with US bumpers and euro front lens.

Here is a picture of another US series 1 car:

I drove down to San Diego and had a look at the car. it appears to be well maintained mechanically, with apparent new parts in the engine compartment. Unfortunately, it doesn't present well when you get closer than 20 feet. The paint is old (they say it was repainted in the 70s or 80s) and has lots of chips and checks. I didn't see any significant signs of rust but there was a bit of minor paint bubbling. The interior looks...old. The seat leather is dry, stained and cracking. The dash looks excellent, perhaps it was replaced. The headliner looks OK. The door panels are OK but shrinking and pulling away. I concluded it could be driven as is for someone who is not too concerned about cosmetics, but most people would likely want to treat it to new paint and interior.

That is a great color for this car....dark enough to camo the bumpers but lively enough to provide some visual pop. What color is the interior?

    Interior is tan.

I agree, the color is quite attractive. Claimed to be the original color and it appeared to me to be so.

i like it,price is ok, but with shipping from California, i think i will wait until something closer comes up for sale.

this economy is not going to get any better. prices will cool off a bit more i think.
