I think there were up to 40 here at one point in recent years, and with the weak dollar many have gone abroad. I understand a total of 60-something have declared entry to the USA since 1985 but most have left...
Over the past few years at the FCA Reading Concours there have been a few 288 GTO's present which is impressive given the number in the US. I can count at least 2 different ones but I am not sure of the total. since 06 there's been anywhere from 2-4.
