IT s wondefull looks real but in small dimention...looks "Swiss made" but made in realty in China.

this model complete my display of Ferrari Divas. 8 years waiting a model lie this one, finally everything comes one day!

LOL impossible to tell you they are all the same....
20 cars based in USA over 272 it don t look enought. we are the over? an idea of country who gets the large 288 GTO specimen?

 

I think there were up to 40 here at one point in recent years, and with the weak dollar many have gone abroad.

I understand a total of 60-something have declared entry to the USA since 1985 but most have left...

 

Over the past few years at the FCA Reading Concours there have been a few 288 GTO's present which is impressive given the number in the US. I can count at least 2 different ones but I am not sure of the total. since 06 there's been anywhere from 2-4. Here are some pics I've snapped.

Having a little fun with photoshop. Here's my take of what if they did an update for the GTO. Lightweight materials, KERS, 2.8 liter V8 Turbo, 7 speed gearbox, etc.

Very creative, but I hope they leave the 288 alone...

 

That make's me feel very honored to have driven next to one in traffic back in '85!

 

What's interesting about it?

 

If you look at the strip between the two satin black bumpers (that the PA historic plate is affixed to), it is red, whereas every car Ive seen has this in satin black...

 

I've seen this before, but the cars were Owner modified.
